Only 5 years in the making

Saturday night we got together at Paula & Mikes house for some scrapbooking and very noisy invisible men. Before we got there I was pretty upset because I wasn't finding some very important supplies. So finally I found them, and on our way we went. I didn't look in my album to see where I was on our Mexico trip that we took 5 years ago next month. Well I get all my crap set up and get out my pictures only to find that it seems I am missing pictures. Hmmmmm...... So I look in my album to see what part of the week I need to start at, and realize the week is over. WHAT!!!! I finished everything, I had some random pictures left of the 3 couples that went & 3 post cards. I thought I still had alot to work on. So I did the 3 pages of work that I had, put page protectors on all the pages and I was done. I had some pictures from a winery trip from a few years ago that I could work on but I only had 1 white scrapbook page to use. So I packed all my stuff back up and hung out with the men who weren't really there.

Last night Bill & I were talking........Yes he does do that on occasion. We traded some ideas with each other about the house. He is going to help me get my scrapbook stuff set up. Yeah!!! (He reminded me that I need to finish his Military album),(I want to start working on our trip to South America)

I am outta here....I have work to do and another load of laundry to do.

A little bit of...........randomness

Yeah!! Finally after a very long wait, American Idol is back on. The last 2 nights I have had some really good laughs. That's all I got to say about that.

St. Louis has been granted the 2009 baseball Allstar game! Yea for us. That will be really good for our city. Since I am on baseball they said that 2008 will be in New York for the final season at the old Yankee stadium. I am not a big Yankee fan, but think of some of the history that will go down with that stadium. Some of baseball greatest players called that stadium home. Players like....Babe Ruth, Roger Maris, & Joe Dimaggio. These are just to name a few.

Since we are on sports, I am rooting for a Bears vs. Colts Superbowl. Of course with a win by the BEARS! But hey, thats just my opinion.

My SIL posted a old blog entry link on her blog, all I can say is WOW! If you have not read this please go and read it. Jenifred. This post is about motherhood and being a good mom vs. a bad mom. It brought a tear to my eye. There are alot of people whom years ago made me feel like I was the worst mother on the face of this planet because I chose to bottle feed my children instead of breastfeeding them. There were also people who tried to blame me for my daughter having inherited a cleft pallet which happens to run on my fathers side of the family, Hell my father has a cleft lip. This blog entry made me feel good about myself as a mother. I will never claim to be a great mom or the worlds greatest mom, but I do try to just be a good mother for my children, and of course I am by no means perfect and neither are my kids. I try to do my best and with everyday that goes by I learn what I did wrong or right. One thing for sure, it is not easy being a mommy. All right enough of that, before I start to cry. GOSH! What a big crybaby I am!! :)

Thank you Dave & Emily I really enjoyed Tuesday night being with everyone and watching Idol. Love you guys! "sniff sniff"

LOL

Peace out guys I have to go now I am watching some videos of Princess Ella!!

Round 1

Well the winter storm has been here, at least the 1st round of it. Here are some pics, it sure is pretty. Round 2 is happening right now, it is not coming down as hard as last night, but all the trees have had enough weight. When we are standing outside it is REALLY quiet, then you hear a tree come crashing done. It is kinda cool. We have been hearing them alot more often than 4 hours ago.

Well Kenny has become quite the little hunter! He thinks he is pretty bad ass! Today he got his first kill. He killed 3 birds with his BB gun, then saved them in a box until I got home from work so I could see them. The robin in the top part of the picture, he is very fond of this one......because he shot it in the eye! UGGGHHH!! BOYS!!! Of course he was also wearing his camo pants so that makes him a true hunter now. It is just a matter of time before he brings bigger prizes to me. I am so NOT looking forward to this.

Well I am outta here! I will post more pics tomorrow.

God bless the children & their families

WOW!! What an amazing day for two families, the Ownby & Hornbeck families. I keep crying, this is just an amazing find for these families. I keep thinking about "what if" it was one my kids. Do you give up any hope after 1 or 2 years? I just can't imagine what these families are going through. 4 years!!! Most families do NOT get their child back after 4 years. I hope this guy who took these boys rots in hell! I don't understand how this guy had Shawn for 4 years and no one knew! Then for Shawn to never say anything to anyone, the poor boy must have been so brainwashed!

Hands of to the Franklin county officers and the Kirkwood police.

Thank God these boys are home safe and sound.
