We should know Thursday if we are getting another dog. (We are trying to get Payden, Alan's dog) Keep your fingers crossed for us!!

We let the kids each pick one, Kenny picked out the girl, which is the one with stripes. He named her Cheyenne. Kayla picked out the little boy, and named him Sylar.

Being that our bathtub is in one of the building with firewood in it, I haven't been able to teach Kayla how to shave. So on the day of her dance I had to teach her. Of course the only place to do it was out at the waterpump.

She says now she has a story for kids, about how she had to sit outside and at a waterpump to shave her legs. She is calling it one of her redneck childhood stories. Pretty funny stuff!!

Crazy I Say!

I went to mom's Diva Girl Purse party tonight. When I go home and did a few things. Now I find myself at the computer. I was on ebay just looking up stuff when I came across this purse. It is like one of the designer inspired purses that I saw tonight and thought was pretty darn ugly. It is on Ebay for $5,300.00!!!!! That is just crazy I say!!!


Hell if I was going to spend $5,000.00 it would not be on a purse, instead I would be buying tickets to Mexico :D

I am starting to get a little upset with 2 people I ordered some stuff from on ebay. The payment cleared for the items over 3 weeks ago. I have heard nothing! I have tried email them, and still nothing! I am an impatient person........I WANT MY STUFF!!!

We are down to 2 bunnies now. They are getting big, and they are starting to get so cute! Kayla is going to be distraught the day Bill decides he is having one for dinner!

Tomorrow is Kayla's dance. I am going to order her some flowers today. I am getting off work early tomorrow to help her get ready.

Not much of anything else going on.

Kenny's first baseball game

Kenny had his first baseball game yesterday. I am not sure who won, I had to leave right before the game ended so I could come home & make dinner.

Our catcher is a very small kid named Jonah, he is a hoot! He looks so funny in the gear cause he is so small. He loves baseball, if you look he is making signals to the pitcher. (Each coach pitches to his own team) He was cracking us up! Coach kept telling him that he didn't need to do that, but he kept on!

One of our baby bunnies died, so now we only have 2. :(

Project #1.....Done!!

Finally the 1st of my projects is done!! The doors are painted! I am not so sure if Bill likes it, but I do! Kayla & I also went Sunday and spent $150.00 on flowers. We bought 3 flats,4 hanging baskets,9 tomato plants,1 hot pepper plant,2 hostas, & 2 raspberry bushes. Everything is planted except for the 2 hostas. I have yet to figure out where the hell to put them! They need to be planted in a part shade area, and everything is full sun. So the next project will be the room swap & painting. Which includes the surprise for Kayla. I think when I go buy the paint for our rooms, I will take Kayla with me and have her get a bunch of paint colors to help decide what she wants, then I think I will paint her room before I move her into it.

Not much else has been going on, I got my first sunburn of the year today. I also got really lucky with a near DF disaster! That was really scary, my heart was pounding. But it is all good now. Also booked the campsites for the family trip. The dates are Aug. 3-6 for anyone who wants to joins us. Of course you don't have to stay all those days. Bill & I have been wanting to stay the extra day for awhile now, and this year we will.

I used something new to send out the Memorial weekend party invite, I am not sure if anyone got them or not, so we are going to have a BBQ & bonfire on May 26th. Bring lawnchairs, a dish, & BYOB. It starts at 2pm.

I am outta here, I need some sleep, tomorrow is the field trip to Busch stadium with all of the 2nd graders! Wish the cards were in town. Since they aren't there won't be that chance to meet any of them.

Movies, Sisters, & Completions!

I came home from work on Saturday and saw my wine rack hanging! I was so happy! Here are a couple of pics. I still need to go shopping to fill it. It is looking very bare.

Also here are some pictures of the shutters. Now that we have nice weather again I plan on getting the doors painted in the same color.

Here is a pic of the girls Bill took this one night when he went to tuck them in bed, he found them all sitting on the wall. We found it kind of funny.

So I have been watching some movies lately. I watched Superman Returns, very good movie. Also I watched Crash, now this was a great movie, I highly recommend this movie. If you are unaware of this one here is a summary of the movie. This movie won 3 Oscars and has a list of famous people including: Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Tony Danza, Matt Dillon, William Fichtner, Brendan Fraser, Terrence Howard, Ludacris, & Ryan Phillippe.

Several stories interweave during two days in Los Angeles involving a collection of inter-related characters, a police detective with a drugged out mother and a thieving younger brother, two car thieves who are constantly theorizing on society and race, the white district attorney and his irritated and pampered wife, a racist white veteran cop (caring for a sick father at home) who disgusts his more idealistic younger partner, a successful Hollywood director and his wife who must deal with the racist cop, a Persian-immigrant father who buys a gun to protect his shop, a Hispanic locksmith and his young daughter who is afraid of bullets, and more.

I got some really shocking news yesterday! I guess I will fill you in on a some things before I give the news. My sister Carrie has been dating someone for awhile. They recently took a vacation together, of course it was to DisneyWorld, being that my sister will not go anywhere else. She goes every spring.

So anywhooo........She calls me yesterday morning and wants me to drive up to drill holes in her walls and help her hang curtains, she is upset because it is so light in her new apartment even with the blinds, she hasn't slept for 2 days. Did you catch what I said? Her new apartment. I was speechless, then I went on to tell her that I was not spending $10.00 in gas and all that time driving in & back home again to drill a couple of holes. I told her that I would be in the area on Tuesday and that I would come over and take care of it then. Then I went on to ask her several questions. I asked if her boyfriend was going to be living with her? answer no. Then, I asked if she could afford this? Answer yes. Then finally I asked her if mom could afford the trailer by herself? she paused for a minute then said, "I think so". Ok, she is almost 30 years old. But here are a couple of my concerns: My sister is the worlds biggest slob, I have seen pigpens cleaner than her room. Most who know of my sister also knows that she is far from being one of the sharper tools in a shed! It would not surprise me if she winds up pregnant, that is the one thing that scares me more than anything. I just can not see my sisiter being able to take care of a baby, I am concerned for the child!! Just pray for me that she doesn't become pregnant. I know that sounds really bad and maybe it is wrong of me to think like that, but I have known her for 30 years, I know what she is like. Hell just her maturity level scares me, 30 year olds don't still buy and play with Bratz & Barbies. Especially when they don't have children! I just think about her last boyfriend..........Some of you will remember him, Darren Mills was his name, if it sounds familiar that is because he is the guy that was all over the news a few years ago for taking pictures of children, when he got busted there were hundreds of pictures of little boys, and I will just leave it at that. That boy was just damn lucky that Kenny was a baby, and the police didn't find any baby pictures. There were not any pictures of girls.......Like I said anyone who knows my sister would understand my concerns. When I talked to my brother, he was also concerned.

All right enough of all that! I will give myself a headache. I am looking forward to this weekend, we are going to try to celebrate Dave & Violets birthday again, hopefully it will be with them. Even though we had one hell of a time without them last year!!! Love you guys!

Holy Crap!!

I have a really big my music file on my computer. I just didn't know how big until I did a count of artist then albums.

I have 319 different artist in my music folder, with a total of 499 full cds. I was so shocked that I had to count it a total of 3 times. WOW! And to think I have a list of cds that is all new stuff that I would like to add to my collection. I have a total of 7,061 songs.

All of those cds were all WMA's, and they are now MP3's, I just opened up alot of space on my hard drive. I guess you can say I like my music.


My project list in this order, for as soon as the weather turns warm again.

1.Paint the front doors to match my shutters.
2.Paint & swap rooms.
3.Paint the kitchen cabinets.

After that I am not sure what I am going to do, hopefully the dry wall will be taped & mudded in the living room, then I can paint those rooms. It is really hard once you have your heart set on paint colors, to sit around and wait for work to be done. It is killing me. I just want to get it done.


I watched the movie Click last night, it was very good!! I cried my eyes out!! I also watched tonight, The Green Mile. I havn't seen it since it came out, I forgot how good of a movie that is. I had also forgot how frickin big Michael Clarke Duncan is.


Only 2 more week until Hereos returns!! I can't wait.

Fashion Stupid

Hi, my name is Chris and I am fashion stupid.(In the tune of AA)

Anyone & everyone knows that I am not a fashion person, I don't keep up with all the latest trends. It is not that I don't want to, I just can't so. So I just don't worry about the latest fashion craze at all. Recently my sil Paula gave me some jeans that she can't fit in any more with her skinny self. They are hip huggers, or low rise jeans, whichever they are called......anyway these are a first for me. I guess you just have to get used to them, but they feel so weird. I don't feel like I have any tummy control in them. Also I need to where a really big shirt with them, cause my ass is so big that when I bend over I am exposing lots of thong & ass crack!! The first time I put them on, they felt like my stuff was about to fall out, so I bent over and checked myself out in the mirror, I laughed so hard, then when I stood back up again and realized I still had alot of junk hanging out, I laughed even harder. I will either quit wearing them or I will just get used to them. Maybe they are like the flip flops, you just have to get used to the tenderness in between your toes.(I never wore flip flops until a couple of years ago, I had a painful summer getting used to them, but it is all good now)

The group is planning a trip to Mexico in June, all I can say is that the resort looks beautiful, and I hope we get to join all of you guys!)

DONE!!!

That is it I am done with American Idol! In another week or 2 I am sure Melinda will be booted so that little piece of crap can stay! I will pay my money for the pool but I will not watch any more this season or ever again, unless they can come up with a way to regulate the voting process. These little girls who are voting for Mowgli because of his looks (He is not cute!!) don't even realize that he is gay!!! Luckily I have plenty of other shows that I can watch instead. Maybe I will go watch Animal Planet in HD with Dave. At 8 pm tonight (same time as Idol) I could of watched Piranhas.


I am still waiting for my wine rack to be hung, as soon as it is, I will post pics of the shutters & rack.

New Stuff.........Part II

I bought paint for the shutters and it totally did not come out in color like it was supposed to, my shutters were magenta! Of course Bill was having a fit, so he bought me a small can of black paint yesterday, and I added it and repainted the shutters, so now they are wine colored. Actually they are now the exact color that he bought them as! Let me tell you how happy was about that!! Well at least they are on the house and everyone is happy now, so as soon as the weather warms up again I will be painting both the doors.

The wine rack is not hung up yet, but he did buy the hooks to hang it.

I rearranged the living room yesterday, I think I might actually like it now. Bill does like it, he can see the TV from the dinner table and can control the stereo also from the table now!

Doug has moved out, so now I have to get on the ball and start getting stuff together and bought to make the move to the other side of the house. This time when I go buy paint I will take my husband with me, so I am not buying $36.00 cans of paint. I also have to buy the wire racks to make that small room into a closet. I can't wait, but I have to finish my first project first, which is paint the doors.

New Stuff

Okay so Diana got new furniture, well I got some new stuff also. I am so excited!! My hardass or tightass husband really is a softie if you push hard enough! (love ya honey!!) He let me buy a overpriced wine rack that I just had to have!! I think it is super cool looking, he thinks it is really ugly. Oh well it is my house, his is up on the hill, and I don't tell him how to decorate it. So he will be hanging it up very soon for me, hopefully tomorrow, if not then it will be hung up Saturday. I also got shutters for the house, the only thing is that they are already a certain color and not the same as the color I bought today for them. So I now am priming the brand new shutters, so I will have a matching door & shutters. Everything will be done by the end of this weekend. He doesn't think it is a big deal if the shutters are wine colored and the doors are white. I am so OCD about the fact that my shutters & doors have to match. Maybe it is just me but I can't stand driving through a neighborhood and seeing blue shutters & a green or red door on a house. It drives me insane!!!! (back to the wine rack) So I am thinking that now that I have this new wine rack, I have to go shopping to find some really cool looking wine glasses to hang from it. I will be stopping at Pier One & World Market tomorrow on my lunch break!!!

I don't even want to get started on this subject but, I am starting to really get pissed off at the crap going on, on Idol!! Mowgli needs to be gone! Not only did he forget his lyrics but he ruined my favorite song by No Doubt!! That is all I can say, I don't want to get my blood boiling before going to bed.

Next week I am going to start buying everything I need for the big room change and painting job! I can not wait, I am so excited!!! After that is done then my next project will be the transformation of the kitchen, mostly meaning the cabinets. It is going to be a busy summer! I still have to work on flowers for outside also!!

Drywall,St.Pats,& Things

Saturday we went to dogtown for the St. Pattey's Day parade. I had a really good time. The parade was cool, I enjoyed the bagpipes. We hung out and Chris & Lee's for awhile. Met this guy named Jeremy, I swear he looks just like Brad Pitt in the movie Sevens. Had fun teasing my brother by saying that I am Kens sister. Love picking on him. He was in a really good mood yesterday, and not bitchy at all, so of course I really enjoyed the time spent together. It was pretty funny when we got there we were the first ones there and a group a guys showed up shortly after us and Lee introduced us all. We were the straight people.

After we left Lee & Chris's we went to someone else's house out by Grants Farm. It was my first trip to Steve & Jenny's. Their house is sssoooooo cute! I just love the way Jenny has it decorated. And Jack what can I say about him other than, he is so darn cute! He cracks me up, he is a hoot! Him & I were down stairs with his tools fixing his wheels on all of his hummers. While we were there we played a game called Imagine If....The game is for 8 players if you do not have 8 then you must fill in the other name spots with names of people that everyone knows, so we used Mike & Paula. There was this question that we got that incuded using Mike W. for the subject person and it couldn't have been a more perfect question for all of us to score on. The question was Imagine if Mike were to make a million dollars, how would he do it? There were 6 different choices the 2nd answer was by inventing something really cool. Of course we all lauged and everone picked that as their answer.




My living room now has drywall, I was really shocked when I came home from work the other day. Even though it is not taped yet, My living room looks so different. I was happy to see something finally getting done in the house nad not Bill's workshop. Speaking of Bill he is so not going to like the paint colors I have picked out for our room or the living room, but oh well. I think once it is done he will like it.


Kayla has a wart on her ankle, without getting to graphic I will just say that, I would have never thought that a wart would get so big that it would get infected! I really thought she had been bit by a brown recluse spider. Of course she hates her dad right now because of the whole squeezing process! She will get over it.

Television shows

I guess I will start at the beginning of my tv week.

Monday-Heroes: WOW! This is a great show, I have not been this so into a show since the very first season of ER. Monday was the season finale until the end of April, it is going to kill me to have to wait that long! At the end of every show they leave you hanging until the next one airs. It is going to be a long month and half for me!

Tuesday-House & American Idol: What can I say about House other than I love the arrogant ass that he is!

American Idol I feel truly has their best group of artist ever. The only thing that kills me is that these teeny bopper kids out there are voting people to stay because of their looks, not their talent. Haley should have left and Sabrina should be there still, Sabrina was awesome. The same goes for Sundance, he should be there and not Mowgli. Antonella Barba should have already been gone, she was horrible!!!!

Thursday-Survivor: This show is one my guilty pleasures! This season is good as always, and of course every season has someone who I just hate! That would be Rocky this season! UGGGHHH!!!

New Shows-Wedding Bells: I have it on tivo but yet to watch it, that is what Sunday is for!

Are you smarter than a 5th grader: Love this show, and yes most of the time I am smarter than a 5th grader. So far with all the episodes I have only gotten a total of 5 wrong! I should so go on this show! We could so use the money!!


Gotta love Ebay! I am always ordering or watching something, I have gotten some CM stuff off of there. I have always said that I would never order pages though because I was afraid they would get ruined in the mail. Well I lied, I ordered a pack of calendar pages. I was also right, by the time I got them in the mail they were bent up! UGGHH!


I am so excited that spring is almost here!! I am so tired of the cold freaking weather! I am ready for warm sunny days, and flowers!! Sitting around outside with our friends.

Doug has found a place to live, so he will be moving out in a couple of weeks, when he does it is time for a room swap! I am also thinking that maybe I will paint our new master bedroom before we swap. I have to clean the carpet from the flood. I am sure that my husband will be bursting with joy when I plan to paint and swap 2 rooms of furniture! Oh well! That is one of my goals in life, to drive my man crazy! I figure if he does it to me, then game on!! (love ya honey :D)

Well I guess I am outta here, I need to clean my house, cause you know I didn't already clean enough houses today. Since I work for a cleaning company and it is my job to clean, nobody else feels that they need to, mom will!!

Boss & DF

Tuesday morning I turned in a time off request for the float trip. Since my boss was not there I left it on her desk. Yesterday when I saw her, I asked her if she got my time of request. She has a very messy desk, so I wanted to make sure. She said yes she had, and that she had approved it. I chuckled and made a comment about if it wasn't approved then I would be calling in those days. She did not like that at all, she snapped at me and told me that, it is instant termination if you call in on days that were asked off but not approved. My response was "So be it." Again she did not like that at all. I told her that like alot of people around here, I don't ask off for very much time, I take 1 vacation a year, I will not miss that weekend even if includes losing my job. So now I am #1 on her shit list! Oh well!


I guess our house is now a popular place for the kids, Kaylas friends who live a street over, have cut a path through the woods to get from their street to our house. They have worked on it all week long, I must say I am pretty darn proud of them also. It is a wide path, and they cut down trees. They have more than enough room to ride their 4 wheelers through it. I just hope Gary doesn't mind. He is our neighbor and it is his property that they cut through.

Drives Me Insane

I know I have blogged about his before, but I need to bitch. I woke up this morning it was 6 degrees out! Can't seem to find my gloves anywhere! So I stopped by 3 stores tonight on my way home from work to buy gloves. Guess what? I can't buy any cause they are out of season. IT IS THE MIDDLE OF FEBUARY AND FRICKIN COLD OUTSIDE AND I CAN BUY A SWIMSUIT BUT NOT ANY STUPID ASS GLOVES!!!!!!!!! It makes me so mad, if I knew who to contact, I would, and I would raise hell!

Ok, so now I feel a little better, except my hands are still cold!

We are taking the kids to the Monster Jam tomorrow. They are so excited, especially Kenny since he is taking a friend with him. I am the only woman going but that is ok, I love Monster Trucks. Yes I am real true redneck at heart.

I got some more karaoke cds this week, so I am now at 76 discs & 960 songs. WOW! Got some really good new discs, can't wait to try them out.

While I was out trying to buy gloves tonight, I bought Kenny a baseball beaded door curtain, he is pretty excited. Kayla really wants a door curtain also, but I can't find her one that she wants. So I guess her & I will have to go shopping for one.
