Happy New Year

Should auld acquaintance be forgot And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot And days of Auld Lang Syne.
For Auld Lang Syne, my dear,
For Auld Lang Syne,
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For Auld Lang Syne.

And here's the hand, my trusty friend
And gives a hand of thine
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For Auld Lang Syne.
For Auld Lang Syne, my dear,
For Auld Lang Syne,We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For Auld Lang Syne.

What a sap

I am such a sappy ass cry baby! Earlier we watched Must Love Dogs, great movie but I cried, then we watched Ladder 49. I have seen this movie before, I know what is going to happen, but what do I do? I cry like a blubbering baby the last 20 minutes of the movie. Kenny thought that was funny because I couldn't stop crying. I am glad I entertained him with my tears

Just give me a damn answer!

I don't understand men! I have been asking what the plan is for New Years Eve and can never get an answer from Bill. The only response I get is "I don't know" Well HELLO, It is almost New Years Eve!!! He likes to make plans ahead of time but for some reason when I try to do that I can never get a answer until the last friggin minute! Then I am the one who has to run around like a mad woman at the last minute to take care of crap! UGH!

Anyway.........My children loved King Kong! I cried(surprise, surprise) Kayla said she was close to crying and Kenny just asked over and over if we were going to buy it when it comes out on DVD. I was really surprised at all the people who were crying, when we were leaving I heard some men behind talking about how they couldn't believed they cried, that put a smile on my face! Now the kids want to go see Cheaper By The Dozen 2. I don't know if I can afford another trip to the movies with them. 3 movies tickets were $18.75, for 3 sodas & 3 snacks was $26.00 then 2 more sodas was $8.00. WTF $53.00 for 1 adult & 2 children to see a movie. I want to go see BrokeBack Mountain but not sure if I pay another $53.00 to go take them to the movies again.

Merry Christmas

Were in the money

The ever so popular Wizards of Winter christmas light display that has been the talk of the nation this season may have been shut down because of traffic and causing accidents but I am sure the owners of the display are having a very Merry Christmas! In case you haven't seen it yet, I am sure you will, this house is now featured on a Miller Light beer commercial. I was really surprised when I saw it about an hour ago. I wonder how much Miller paid them to use their lights for a commercial.

Sleeze Bag Salesmen....YUCK!

I went with Emily to Rhodes Furniture earlier to pick up her new tables, and I decided to see if they had the dining room furniture that I have been wanting. Of course we get this sleeze bag salesman that really was a total & complete loser! Anyway I found my furniture!! It had a price of $1498.99. So he made me an offer of $890.00 then $849.00 then $825.00. That is the final offer. I really like this set buuuutttttttttttt.......There is small chunk off wood missing, a deep scratch about 5 inches long on the table top, and another scratch about the same size on one of the chairs. There is a sticker on the table that says this table is the only one they have and the salesman told me to just use a sander on the area where the small chunk is. I tell him I will have to talk to my husband.....meanwhile I am thinking hmmmm......I didn't even get told Happy Birthday 2 months ago, Christmas is in a week and our 14 wedding anniversary is in 2 months. What a great all in one gift....a solid wood dinette set with 8 chairs. (My $300.00 dinette set I have now is falling apart and is also about 13 years old. My thinking is out with the old and in with the new! So anyway, I am waiting in the front of the store for Emily when I see some more dinette sets, so I might as well go look, guess what I found? The exact same set with the same sticker that says it is the only one they have, the only thing is that this one is in perfect condition....hmmmm...now I am really thinking(I know it can be scary) I can't get sleeze bag to help but have another salesman who is more than wiling to talk to me. I explain the other table and tell him the other offers, and he tells me he can give it to me for $749.00, Meanwhile I am thinking they only have 9 days left before they are completely out of business and I wonder if I showed up with 6 $100 bills would they take it? I think they would. Now I just have to get my husband involved! I am going to need ALOT of luck. Emily used her cell phone and took pictures of it. They don't even show how neat this set is.

Fun things to do on a Saturday night..........

Saturday night the guys went bowling in a 9 pin no tap tournament and us girls decided to got to a Christmas party with some friends of ours in downtown St. Louis. We went to the party for a little while and then we startd to get bored, so our friends, Jack,Lee & Chris decided they were going to take us out. So they took us to this little bar called the Grey Fox. We were going to see our first Drag Queen show. It was a first for most of us girls. I would have never ever thought that I would have so much fun!!!

Classic Hollywood Movie Star

I got this off of Daves blog. The Classic Dames Test: Here are my results.

Myrna Loy
You scored 14% grit, 23% wit, 33% flair, and 40% class!

You are class itself, the calm, confident "perfect woman." Men turn and look at you admiringly as you walk down the street, and even your rivals have a grudging respect for you. You always know the right thing to say, do and, of course, wear. You can take charge of a situation when things get out of hand, and you're a great help to your partner even if they don't immediately see or know it. You are one classy dame. Your screen partners include William Powell and Cary Grant, you little simmerpot, you.

You can take it also:

Women or Men

I took some other test also:

Ha! Who would of known, Me with a dirty mind:

FilthyYou
scored 91% Dirtiness!

Judging by your score, your mind is a wasteland of perversion and impurity. Congratulations! You are officially in possession of a dirty mind. You probably enjoy dirty jokes very much and appreciate the sexy things in life. Thinking about sex is something you do often, and you probably wonder why other people can't loosen up.

Me kinky now way:

Wild Thing
42 Reserved, 79 Kinky

Sex is more than just physical. It is one of the ways to build an emotional bond between two people. Sex gives adults the opportunity to act like children again. You know how to enjoy kinky sex. You may have problems finding a lover equally adventurous that isn't a slut or a womanizer. But with time and affection the nicest lady and most refined gentleman can become as wild in bed as you are. Communication is the key.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Yaaaa! We got snow and my kids couldn't be happier. Now it is starting to feel like Christmas, even though my kids would rather play in the snow than put their ornaments on the tree.

My Great Idea

Everyear at Christmas, We play a rob your neighbor game with my husbands family instead of drawing names. So the quest is on to find the gift that everyone wants. I have found the most perfect gift of all time. Told Bill about it last night and he got so excited. He agrees it is the best gift, and wants it for his gift. I was thinking HEY! that was my idea!! But I guess it is more of a guy gift, even though I know that several women in our family would want this gift. So I guess I will give it to my husband whom I love so very much. Now I just need to get his credit card so I can order 2 of these items, we already have someone planned for the 2nd one! Boy are they going to be surprised!! My search is on again to find the best gift for myself to give at the party.

For some unknown reason which I can't explain but I have been thinking about my husband today. I know it is crazy. WOW! In 2 months we will be married for 14 freakin years, and I am still so incredibly attracted to him. Yes he is moody but he is a wonderful guy whom completely drives me batty sometimes(ok, most of the time) This man has been working his ass off the last couple of months and has had a different attitude also. I must say I like it.

I LOVE YOU!!

Redneck Christmas

I am hosting a redneck Christmas this year at my house. I decided that I would host the family Christmas get together at my house. No big deal, have the family over, eat a nice Christmas meal, open gifts.

So I went to work yesterday and Christmas dinner was planned while I was gone, this is what I was informed we are having on the menu so far:

Ham (for sandwiches)
BBQ Pork Steaks
Olives
Hot Wings
Party Potatoes
Veggie Tray W/ Dip
Baked Beans
Bread (for the ham)
Lettuce,pickles,onions, & tomatoes (for sandwiches)

This is not Christmas dinner, this is we are having a summer BBQ get together food! I thought my brother was being bitchy the other day when he was saying that he wanted to have a nice sit down dinner on Christmas Eve. By the way Christmas Day is with my husbands family and Christmas Eve is with my family. So I talked to my mom she doesn't want to have a big meal and she doesn't want to leave her house for Christmas Eve. She refuses to leave and come to my house. I could understand if I lived an hour away, but I only live 5 min. from my mom, and now my husband informed me of what our Christmas dinner will be. Maybe I am being stupid over the food thing but I want that food that you are supposed to eat at Christmas not the same shit I eat 9 out of 12 months a year! I want the baked ham and turkey that makes you tired and pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes........and so on. I was told that if I didn't like the menu then I could cook all day on Christmas, but I was aloud to bitch about the mess. By having this dinner it won't be messy is what I guess he was thinking. HELLO! I am having a ass load of people at my house with lots of food! Just because we are having BBQ is not going to make the mess smaller!!

Merry Christmas To Me! :D

The peanut that I am

XBOX 360

The new XBOX 360 is being released today, which sounds pretty cool. This is what gets me. Best Buy is selling it, but only in packages ranging in price from $520.00 to $704.00! Holy Shit! This is the kicker, there were people camped out waiting in line to buy it! I love video games, anyone who knows me knows that, but I just can't see spending that kind of money on a video game system! Then of course you have to buy games for it. Which of course range in price from$50.00 to $70.00.

The cardboard box was officially entered into the toy hall of fame, for the use of imagination with children. I thought this kind of silly at first but then thinking about it and thinking the hours of fun my children have had with some boxes I then thought yes it should be there. Children when playing with a box, have a wonderful imagination. Thinking of all the times they have played with boxes puts a big smile on my face. :D

Celebrities that drive me crazy!!

First and foremost I am so sick of hearing the words Desperate Housewives!! I have never watched the show, I hear it is good but I am so sick of hearing about this show and it's stars!

Uma Thurman,Bob Saget,Paris Hilton,Nicole Richie,Mariah Carey,Pam Anderson, Celine Dion.........I could go on for hours but here is one of the most annoying:

I already can't stand this girl, she annoys the hell out of me kinda like Celine Dion but maybe a little worse! Now she is able to drink legally and it didn't take her long to prove how much she sucks. Get over yourself Ashlee! If you haven't seen her on display at McDonalds yet then click on her name to watch it!

Not Paying Attention

Men are so funny sometimes! My husband went shopping and bought laundry supplies, which is a good thing. The part that really make sme laugh is that he bought, Mountain Spring Tide, Ocean Mist Downey & Outdoor Breeze Bounce. So now our clothes smell a little like the mountains, ocean, and an outdoor breeze all in one!

So not only am I on the blog bandwagon now, but I have finally sign up on Ebay & have already bought some stuff. I just can't get over the deal I got. I bought 29 disc with a total of 521 songs for only $52.00 that price includes the shipping. I am a little excited about this since if bought in a store you pay anywhere from 9.99 to 14.99 for anywhere from 6 to 16 songs. I think I am officially hooked on Ebay. Now I understand how easy it can be to get hooked! My karaoke cds totally rock though! We have had so much fun with them already.

I again am stealing this from my sister in law:

Make My Boobies One More Size

I went shopping today, it was not any fun. I am trying to find a cute little shirt to wear Saturday. I tried on several like the one in the picture. I love those they are so cute.

Here is the problem. If you don't have big tits, forget about it. I am a B cup and could not fill in the cups. I even tried them on with my PADDED BRA, still there was a whole lot of gap left in them. You would think that the makers of clothes could make make popular cute shirts like the one above for women with small tits. But NNNOOOOOO! So now I have to work the next couple of days with no time to finish shopping, hopefully I will find something tomorrow, since the couple of hours that I have will be the only before Saturday! I am a woman and I must say.....I HATE SHOPPING!!!!

Cool Link

I thought was kinda cool http://www.fuali.com/tests.aspx

You Might Be A Redneck If...........

Get 100ft roll of construction grade plastic, cheap rafts, drink alot, and have fun for not just one day, but soon will be our third day doing this over this summer. Since we thought of it half way through the summer we will more than likely do it more next summer.

I really wonder where the hell we come up with some of the stuff we do. The 2 Mike's & Bill always have the wheels turning in thier head, and now they have Mikey to help! Heaven help us! Actually I remember how they came up with this idea now!!

Fast forward to the beginning of June. We had a big birthday party for my children, Paula & Mike bought them a slip n slide. We set it up in the yard, the adults had just as much fun playing on it as all the kids did. One problem though, it was to small. So the guys came up with the idea of using the roll of plastic. Then they thought hmmm..... Mike & Diana have a great hill to put this on. So at their annual July 3rd party, we tried it out, huge success! Everyone drank alot that day and played as hard as the kids did, which by the way the kids love the really big slip n slide AKA Redneck Waterslide. The second time we broke it out was for Emily's going away party. Doug is our unbeatable distance champion. Who knows what this group will do next.(Hopefully throw another kickass Halloween Party!!) If any of you are reading this WE HAVE WORK TO DO!!!

******************************************

I have a new blog to read now, I really enjoy reading this guy. http://chriscope.blogspot.com/ The name of his blog is Dancing The Polka With Miss El Cajon.

******************************************

The kids started school yesterday and let me tell you it has been great. My house is so quite during the day, no more screaming, crying, fighting, snitching. I could take a nap!! The cat has even come out of his hiding place. The only thing is that it is the second day of school and my son has already gotten in trouble. He didn't get to go to recess today and I got a note from his teacher telling me that he refused to do any work in class today.Mmmmm someone's going to be in trouble when dad gets home from work today!!

Surprise! A big ass snake in my truck!!

My boss calls me the other day, and says, you are not going to believe this but the UPS driver just pulled up to deliver some packages to Great Clips next door. When the UPS driver got in the back of the truck, there it was a 9ft long albino burmese python, laying on top of the boxes. If it hadn't been for the noise in the background, I wouldn't have believed him. Went to the work the next day and was given these pictures. Animal control was called to help remove the snake, being the snake lover I am, what worried me were the words Animal Control. I know they do not adopt out snakes, so my fear was that they would end up killing this beautiful animal. Thankfully the owner was found and the snake was spared, which I was so happy that I even shed a few tears!! I myself would love to have snake like that one, but that will never happen, since my husband is very scared of snakes, even the little bity harmless garden snakes! By the way UPS does not ship live animals. (The snake was bought from a man in Philadelphia, who shipped it UPS to St.Louis)

Now that charter has finally fixed my internet I can start blogging again!!

It was great just sitting in the river on Thursday & Friday doing nothing but playing drinking games!! Then Saturday was the big float. We had 10 rafts and 38 people. 14 of which were DF Virgins. 700 Jello shots, 2 grosses of Mardi Gras beads, 12 beach balls, phatty patty our blow up doll in a Bud Light tankini, and of course girls on the loose with cans of whip cream.

Only 339 days, till DF 2006! Yeah Baby!

California

Some years ago my husband & I were living in California, a year after the big one hit San Fransico. Even though it had been a year since it had happened it was still scary to see the damage there. I am very thankful that in the 4 years we were there that we never had an earthquake. Also I am very thankful that we are not living there now! Now we just have to worry about the big one hitting the New Madrid fault.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6949042/

Have a nice weekend!

My Thursday

It was a pretty good day considering what yesterday was like trying to take care of all the float trip crap. Maybe it was a good day cause I now have the weight of the float trip worries lifted off my chest. Everyone is paid for, now we just have to wait 1 month!

The other day I bought my children a $30.00 memory card for their gamecube. It has 1019 blocks. The reason I bought one that big was because Kayla's Sims game requires 150 blocks. So I figured buy the big one and then her & I can both use it for that game. All week long I have been playing and saving and was finally getting a good game going. I came home from work last night and found that my game had been erased & replaced by her game. The part that gets me is that you would think that you could save more than 1 game at a time on there, but nnnnooooo. So I guess I will go buy me a used 250 block card.

I watched "The Village" tonight. I won't say a whole lot about it other than my mind was blown away! I totally did not expect that kind of movie! If you haven't seen it, you really need to watch it! It gets a little slow at times but be brave and stick with it. It is worth it!

TV vs. Radio

I myself have found this kind of humorous!!

Eminem has a new hit song out called, Ass like that.

This is the part I find kind of funny. In the lyrics there is a verse that goes."I ain’t never seen an ass like that,The way you move it, you make my peepee go DOING DOING DOING.

If you hear it on the radio the word ass becomes a silent word, but they play the whole peepee go DOING.

The video on MTV plays the ass part, but the peepee word becomes slinky.

I guess it is just me but I find that rather amusing.

Just a random thought!! :)

Friends

This weekend we had a party for my children and I just wanted to say that I have some really great friends whom I love dearly. The adults & kids had a water fight played in the bounce house, went swimming, and of course the kids & adults had a blast on the slip n slide.

My children said it was the best party they ever had. I have all my wonderful friends and family to thank for that. I love you all dearly and there isn't anything that I wouldn't do for you guys. (almost anything!! lol)
