14 Days

We have only 14 days until Christmas, that is 2 weeks! HOLY CRAP!! It is almost here, I am not even close to be ready for Christmas!! We have not bought one thing yet!! We also haven't even put up the tree yet!! What makes it even worse is that I am working every Saturday now. So I basically have 2 days to get ready for Christmas or 1 1/2 days cause we have to go to my moms on Christmas Eve!! We still have parties to go to also! My work party/dinner is tonight at Trailhead Brewery. Oh yeah I am so excited.....Trailhead is not one of my favorite places, they have overpriced food that is not that great. Don't get me wrong they do have good food but its not GREAT food. Then also our significate others are invited but have to pay there own way. Bill won't go cause he doesn't want to drive up by himself. I am going to a coworkers to get ready. I gave my boss alot of crap about the that was picked for the party! Tonight is the Rams & Bears on Monday night football!! I have been waiting all season for this game.

Well I am outta here! Word to your mother!!

To pug or not to pug, that is the question.

Everyone knows about the whole Jack thing going on, so we have talked about getting another dog. I already know what I want, told Bill, he said he didn't care. So I searched between Missouri,Illinois, & Kansas. Finally found one that was in our price range and the age I was looking for. Now Bill has decided that he doesn't want a small dog, he wants a big dog. I am thinking that a small dog would be a nice change. I get tired of middle of the night accidents that are bigger than my dishes!! We would love to have an English Bulldog, and seems to be the only breed that we agree on, but the cheapest I can find is $800.00, and those are far & few in between. So who knows what we will do, but my thinking is that if I can't have a small lap dog then the next best thing would be to get another kitty!! HEHEHE!!

How Cute!!

Hook,Line, & Sinker

Awile back I saw previews for a new show that would be coming on and thought WOW! that looks like a good show, but I missed the first 7 episodes. I have heard people talk about how good this show is. I have seen the last 2 episodes and I am totally hooked. The show is on NBC, and it is called Heroes.

Since I am talking about TV shows, I am just waiting for it all to blow on House, it is really starting to build, and when it does blow it will be great!!

I got away from all the shows I used to watch and only stayed true to one, which is Survivor, but now thanks to Bill (House) & Doug (Heroes) I am starting to get hooked on shows again. As I always do, I will again thank whoever invented DVR!

THANK YOU!!

Speaking of Bill & Doug, they are building again, they have more ideas for the bar. They are just to funny.

Scary Day

So I was off work today and thought I would get some stuff done around the house. Well all I ended up doing was making a REALLY BIG mess! If Bill could of gotten away with murder I would be dead. I decided that it is time to get the office in order, but I have no where to go with this stuff. So I unloaded the big cabinet in the laundry room and started to move it to the office so I could use that for all my junk. I only made it about 6 inches before the trouble started. I pushed the cabinet into the water pipes that are coming up out of the well pump and holding tank, and broke one. I instantly had my very own indoor fountain! I was soaked within 15 seconds, since it was spraying up to the ceiling and coming back down. I didn't know how to shut it off so it ran for about 15 minutes before Bill said to cut the power to the house, which in turn would stop the pump from pumping all that water in. So I flooded the laundry room, kitchen and media room. At that point what else could I do but laugh, Bill did not find it the least bit funny. I give him to the weekend and then he will think it is funny.

More scary stuff, I was looking at some pictures and came across 2 very scary pictures. So here they are, but if you scare easily then DO NOT scroll down and look at them.

A reminder for the men

There are few of you out there whom I feel need to be reminded of the rules, you know who you are......

The Rules

1. The female always makes the rules
2.The rules are subject to change at any time without notification
3.No male can possibly know all the rules
4.If the female suspects that the male knows all the rules, she must immediately change some of the rules
5.The female is NEVER wrong
6.If the female is wrong, it is because of a flagrant misunderstanding which is a direct result of something the male did or said wrong.
7.If rule #6 applies, the male must apologize immediately for causing the misunderstanding
8.The female can change her mind at any given point.
9.The male must never change his mind without written consent from the female.
10.The female has every right to be angry or upset at any time.
11.The male must remain calm at all times, unless the female wants him to be angry or upset.
12.The femalemust under no circumstances let the male know whether or not she wants him to be angry or upset.
13.Any attempt to document the rules by a male could result in bodily harm.
14.If the female has PMS, all rules are null and void.

Starry Night

Growing up I was always enjoyed looking at the stars. I always tried to find different clusters, but could never find anything but the big & little dipper. Well since we have moved to the new house, my intrest has really grown, especially since a really good friend of ours has actually showed me a couple of things. Well this friend, lets call himmmmmmmm...."Dave", has a pretty cool telescope, we have talked about him bringing it out. Well I think it is time for "Dave" to bring it out and teach me some more!!

World Series Cardinals

WOW! What an intense game last night. My stomach was so upset, I thought I would get sick. That was some extremely stressful baseball!! Happy Birthday to me!! Watching the end after we won really reminded me of Porter & Sutter in 1982. Molina ran out (like Porter) and jumped onto Wainwright. My big fear now is that the Tigers will sweep us like the Red Sox did. At least we can say........We made it!!

GO CARDS!!!

Always curious

Most of you have seen this house, it is on Hwy N, seems like it is always for sale. I don't think it is a great looking house, but like most people I have always been curious about it, I would love to see the inside. It drives me crazy wondering what such a lllllllooooooooonnnnnngggggg house looks like on the inside. I found it and have looked at the pictures.

Look at that lovely pink ceiling fan in the master bedroom! I know you all want one of those! That is what everyone is getting from me for Christmas........unless of course you would rather have a goat!!!

This is why the house is so long! Now I want that house just because of the pool!!

So if you would like to see more stuff in this house.(you know you want to, everyone is curious about this house) Here is the MLS # 631916, just click on the link and enter the number!! Lllllloooooonnnnnggggg house

Fall

Another reason I love the fall is because the leaves are on the ground and you can hear things moving in the woods. Last night I was sitting out on the patio having a smoke before I went to bed, when I heard some noise, so I was looking in that direction, when a deer came out. I stood up and was watching it, I got so excited to see deer on our property that my heart started going BAM BAM BAM! I stood there for almost 30 minutes watching 3 adults and 2 babies. They eventually walked over behind Bills workshop. That was so cool, especially since they were so close.

I didn't realize how much Kenny has grown over the summer, he had a huge growing spurt. In late spring/early summer he was wearing size 7 jeans, well now he is wearing size 9!! He went straight past all the size 8's he had! I thought he would be set for fall since he had about 15 pairs of jeans all size 7 & 8's. But nnnoooooooo!! Now he has 2 pair that fit him!! Darn kids why do they have to grow so fast!!

A little more this & very little that.......

I can forsee already the fights that Bill & Kayla are going to have. Just because she is a girl and does what girls do, and it drives him crazy. For example: Yesterday after school Kayla went up to Taylors house after school, she was there for around 2 hours. Well when she came home she wasn't home 15 minutes when Taylor called. So Kayla took the phone to her room, which first off Bill couldn't understand why they were on the phone since Kayla just got home from Taylors house. I told him, that is what girls do. So after about 20 minutes or so on the phone, it was driving him insane. So he went to Kaylas room, and told her it was time to get off the phone. He comes back with the phone talking about how Kayla had the phone on speaker and laying on her bed, talking to Taylor, while Kayla was sitting on the floor coloring. I just laughed because again that is what girls do. I told him that is why girls always want there own phone line, also that it was not costing him anymore on the phone bill for her to sit there and talk. Personally I don't see what the big deal was........It's not like he was going to use it!!

Also yesterday I dropped my car off at the Ford dealership to find out what was going on with it. I had to get a rental. Well Ford called me at work and said that the rear brakes went out and it is not covered under the warranty, it is going to cost $199.00 for them to fix it, which includes labor, parts and the rental. I thought not bad, but still had to call Bill first. He says no way is he paying that much, he will do it himself, which of course caused me to panic!! Bill is a VERY handy guy, but a mechanic he is NOT!! So anyway I call back Ford and tell them that they can't fix it, it is to much money. Awhile later the dealership calls again, they are going to go ahead and fix it because it makes no sense why the rear brakes went out after only 16,000 miles. They said they should see wear on the front brakes but not enough to replace after that amount of miles, so the back ones shouldn't be that bad. But since this is not a warranty repair, I will have to pay for the rental, COOL! I can deal with that. This is the part that gets me:

When I bought my car I asked for a smokers package, which is a ashtray and cigarette lighter, I was told that you can only get that when you order your car from the factory. Well with my rental I was informed that there is to be NO SMOKING in the car, I had to sign off that if I smoked in the car they would charge me $1000.00. The rental had a ashtray and cigarette lighter in it!! I asked them if they had a smoking car, they said no all their cars are non smoking. I think that if I am paying for it I should be allowed to smoke in it also they should have cars that are for smokers. I know I am complaining about a bad subject with some people, but still I have rights also, I can understand not smoking in restaurants, but I think some of the rules that are coming about these days are just down right stupid! I could so go into this way more but this is not a political blog........Speaking of politics......

Mark Foley is a sick, sick man!!!!

So anyway I will be picking up my car this morning and I am going to chain smoke in it because I can!! (Not really)

A little this & a little that

Tonights post is about several things:

When I first found our property it was spring and everything was so green and pretty that I fell in love, well this morning when I was sitting outside shortly after the sun rose that I realized that spring was nothing....Fall is beautiful....I love the fall. Here are some pics.

This next one I don't have much to say about other than I thought it was pretty cute!

Now this totally cracks me up!!! My husband who has NO Hair, thinks he needs to condition it! I refuse to let him use my products because they cost to much to let him waste on his bald head, this is what I found in the cabinet. It just totally cracks me up.

Last but least!!

Remember Screech from Saved by the bell.........This is very disturbing......He has starred in a porn!!!! Titled..............Saved by the smell!!! That just turns my stomach!!!

HA! Are you freakin kidding me!!!

Below is a copy of an email I received from my MIL, it is supposed to be an actual article from Good Housekeeping in 1955, but snopes says it is fake. Either way I thought it was interesting and very funny. There is no way, no how that this would ever be me!!! Could you just imagine, I am sitting here laughing & thinking about it.

*Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have be thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they get home and the prospect of a good meal is part of the warm welcome needed.

*Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.

*Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.

*Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Run a dustcloth over the tables.

*During the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering to his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

*Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Encourage the children to be quiet.

*Be happy to see him.

*Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.

*Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

*Don't greet him with complaints and problems.

*Don't complain if he's late for dinner or even if he stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have gone through at work.

*Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or lie him down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.

*Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.

*Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.

*A good wife always knows her place.

Redneck Romance

Last night I was flipping channels and saw that one my favorite all time movies was on, so of course I had to watch, it is one of those movies I can watch over & over again. The American President. Well I didn't that Bill also loves that movie. I was a little shocked cause after all it is a romantic movie or a chick flick. So we both reclined the recliners on the LOVEseat and cuddle together and watched the movie together, it was great cause everyone knows that Bill is not that kind of guy.

Also we have 2 new members of our family:

Their names are Franklin & Angel, here are some pics of them. They were born on June 23, 2006.

We are talking about getting a pot bellied pig next!!

Things are changing

Things are about to change, actually they already have started. It started tonight with the snake, I had did some research and bullsnakes DO NOT make very good pets. So I had made the decision that we would set him free. So when we went to set him free, we found out that he had already escaped. The funny part about this is that he has been staying in Bill's workshop. So as you can guess Bill was having a fit. Do I mean a fit!! SOOOOO......Mom had to save dads life from the big bad snake. I found him and picked him up and let him go. Bill is happy again. When doing research on snakes last night I did discover that a great beginner snake is a corn snake. They are supposed to be real docile. So sometime next year I will get the kids a cornsnake. Bill isn't to excited about it, but I figured it would also be a good learning expeirence for him also.

Another thing that is about to change is that the kids will no longer as of this weekend have satellite in their rooms, let me tell you they are not very happy about it. I told them that they should be thankful to even have a TV in their rooms!

Something is bothering me:
A person whom I care for posted on their blog finally, and this was the post.

Who your true friends are
I guess its a fact of life. When you break up with someone that you have dated for a LONG time, it is at that point and time that you find out who your true friends are.
You date someone for 9 years. YOU introduce this person to a group of people. You become friends with the same group for at least 6 of those 9 years. You do EVERYTHING with that group and I mean EVERYTHING.
6 years later you find yourself no longer with the person you were dating/living with while becoming such great friends with this group. The group that you thought were your friends suddenly stop calling you, asking you to hang out etc etc.
When He and I first broke up, the one thing I didnt think I would lose, out of everything else Ive lost due to this break-up, would be my friendship with this group. I never thought in a million years that I would become the outcast.
Apparently, I was wrong, thats what I get for thinking.
Its amazing how people can take sides so quickly and believe everything the other person is/has been telling them.
It amazes me that it can be thought that he had no fault whatsoever in this break-up. That Im the reason for this happening. I am completely at fault, to blame. That he is perfect (Which he even admitted to me that he thinks he is).
It amazes me that these people are being told things that are completely untrue, however, since he is telling them, theyre taking it as gospel.
This hurts so much and makes me cry often, but...the one thing I have found out of this realization, is that there is ONE person, out of the whole group, who is truly my friend.... And for that I want to thank her. I know she knows who she is.
A bit of advice to everyone out there that are friends with a couple that are going through a breakup: There is 2 sides to every story. Don't judge until you've heard both sides and know all the facts. Don't take sides. If you were true friends before, you should still be true friends after.
That's all I have to say about that.

Someone awhile back told me about seasonal friends. What is a seasonal friend you ask. Well they are your friend only because they have to be, like saying because of a marriage, or a relationship. But when that marriage or relationship ends then so does the friendship, they were only your friend because they had to be and it was for the season of the relationship. Well.....

I AM NOT A SEASONAL FRIEND!!!

I also hope that I don't have any seasonal friends. I am very hurt by this post. I have included this person on several occasions, but have been turned down because of the other person will be there. Don't blame me if you are trying to oust yourself. I have true feelings for you if you are reading this! Please don't be a seasonal friend!

Now I am going to go to bed and irratate my husband!!! Goodnight!

TV

Paula posted recently about bumper stickers, and Jennifer made a comment about bumper stickers with cuss words in them that she doesn't want her children reading. Well this is something that I am really sick of my children hearing about. Erectile Dysfunction!!! I am so tired of hearing those what seems like 10 minute commercials! The government talks about children watching violent shows & movies on TV, which in turn causes the children to shoot and kill their parents, but it is ok to hear the TV talking about sex, orgasm & erectile dysfunction! I get so mad when those commercials come on. How more violent can you get than watching Wile E. Coyote try to blow up the Road Runner every week, that is a show that EVERYONE used to watch when I was growing up and I don't remember hearing about anyone killing their parents because of that show. Also it isn't so much the TV & music, it is the parents not teaching their children & just letting them do what they want.

I have to go to work now I guess I will stop compaining!! :D

Have a great day!!

"Crikey!"

So I saw that one of favorite TV charaters died. It was very sad to hear. I did not ever think he would die from a stingray, I had always said "One of these days he will die from a croc" guess I was wrong. He will be missed.

The new babies are doing good considering they have to deal with Kenny! They grow very fast, I can tell a difference in them already in just a few days. We also put in a cat door for the Zues, that has been interesting trying to teach him to use it, I think the little flap needs to disappear!

Have a great weekend!!!!

Welcome to the Chicken Ranch

Welcome to the "New" Chicken Ranch......and no I don't mean the best little whore house in Foley!!

For awhile now my husband has been wanting chickens, and has been telling me how he is going to get some. Well it started with getting 3 hens & 1 rooster, then a couple weeks later he says it will just be 3 hens, then the other night he says 5 hens. Well I came home tonight and we are now the parents of 9, yes I said 9 baby chickens or chicks. He said all they had left were 9 and he was going to buy 6 and that he couldn't leave the last 3 there all by themselves. I keep thinking "Thank Goodness They Are Not Great Danes!" He wanted to get them for this weekend, he thought it would be fun to have them here when everyone came out on Saturday. I will admit they are cute, but really how much fun are they, all they do is poop! I would rather have my neice poop on me, then it would be worth it! Soooooooo here are some picks of our 9 new babies!

The kids have finally started school!! YAAA!! Yesterday was their first day, We had the bus numbers wrong, so which also means we had pickup times wrong. Kayla missed her bus, so I had to take her. It is nice knowing that they are not home all day long trashing my house. Bill gets home before I do and everyday I was waiting for his blood pressure to shoot out the top of his head from fighting with the kids about the messes they had made and not cleaned up. The really nice thing was that my sink wasn't piled with dishes and there wasn't food and sticky stuff all over the counter tops. There were just a couple of sticky spots on the floor, which was easy to take care of.

Kenny & I went an seen Pirates of Caribeen 2 on Sunday. Very good movie, Just the drive to go see it sucked!! We don't go to the movies very often, so when we do go, I don't say no if the kids want something.....It is amazing how quick $45.00 can go!!

Well I need to get ready for work......Have a great day!!!

It's been awhile...

I know it has been awhile since my last post.....but what can I say I have been busy! The holiday, the moving, the unpacking, the float trip, more unpacking, and now the upcoming party.

Something happened Monday that every time I think about it, I start laughing. Bill brought a back hoe home to do some work. I was in the house unpacking when Kenny said to come outside. Bill wanted me. So when I got out there, Bill said he had found a rattlesnake. My first thought was Missouri does have a rattlesnake, but it is very unlikely to actually ever see one, but I will give him the benefit of doubt. So I start digging around, and I find Bill's "rattlesnake". It was a little bitty garden snake about 8 inches long, and thinner than my pinky finger. I laughed at him, picked up the little snake a put him in the woods so Bill could get back to work. I have never met anyone so scared of a little, and I mean little snake.

New homeowners

It is official we have been homeowners for 24 hours now. YAAAA!!!! Now we can't wait to actually start living there. We will be there Friday night, if anyone wants to come up. The last 2 days our dog has been completely exhausted. He is so funny, he just goes and goes, then crashes hard. I have not had a dog in a long time, and I find it amusing how much he is like a child, even when it comes to playing in the sprinkler. We found out from the people that we bought the house from that there are 3 caves by our property. One of them, he said has about a 80 foot drop that you have to go down to get to the entrance of. Then he said that it is huge. Bill & I are so looking forward to going exploring! I love caves. The old homeowner also told us about the very large owl that likes to sit on our dusk to dawn light. I am also looking forward to seeing him.

I am off to bed, need lots of rest for tomorrow!!

I Love The Country Life!! :D

Big Stupid Jerk

No I am not talking about Bill!! I am talking about the homeowner of the house that we are about to buy, or should I say hoping to buy. Where to begin..........The jerk has been fixing the front wall termite issue. He now wants us to back out of the contract on the house because he thinks that since he has fixed things for us and spent alot of money that he could put the house back on the market and sell it for more. The whole front wall turned out to be infested pretty bad with termites. So he tore out the drywall to fix all of the framing, which was a total loss. Well he has decided that he has spent enough money, so he is NOT going to put drywall back up. So Bill said fine he would buy the drywall and fix it, that is when we found out that he was hoping we would back out of our contract. So when we move into our house in 2 weeks, when looking at our living room all you will see is 2 windows and 2x4 studs!! I have a really bad feeling. I think he is going to pull out of the contract and we are going to lose the house. Bill says that if he does back out, he is getting a lawyer and suing him for all the money we have spent!! I have been told that buying a house can be stressfull!! But come on, this is just STUPID!!

FUN!!

These would be sooooooooooooooooooo much fun on a DF float trip, especially the first one, by the way the second one is a slide and trampoline.

Employee Of The Year

Every Wednesday morning at work we have a meeting. At today's meeting my boss Sharon said that it was that time of the year to nominate someone for team member of the year. She goes into this whole thing talking about the person she is nominating and why, when a little over half way through I realize she is talking about ME! Then she annouces that it is me, that she is nominating. The top 3 people from across the U.S. will get to go to the national conference in Sept. which happens to be at the Adams Mark in STL this year. The top person picked will get $1000.00 and 2 dozen roses. I was a little shocked and very embaressed. My co-workers said my ears turned bright red. This is so cool even if I don't make the top 3. I have never felt so appreciated at a job before, and let me say it feels pretty good!! Of course I had to nextel Bill this morning and tell him and he got all excited for me, which made me even happier. So again it was a good day at Merry Maids. :D

Jerk Cottleville Cop

We were at Mike & Diana's yesterday for their big party. I had about 6 drinks between 3pm and 7 pm. Then I quit drinking. Went to bed around 10 or so, and slept until 3am. When I woke up I was not feeling good, I was having really bad stomach cramps, so I gathered the family and we went home. On the way home the cramps were getting worse, at a stop light past the SCCC, I opened my car door and got sick twice, then I closed the door and proceeded to pull over, when here comes one of Cottleville's finest, with lights and pulls me over. He thinks I am drunk because I threw up, I tell him that I am not drunk, just very sick to my stomach. He takes my license, but does not ask for insurance, does not run my plates, and does not ask me to blow either. Then he tells me I should be ashamed for driving my family while being drunk, He does not want to arrest me in front of my children and tells me to call someone to come and pick us up. I am very upset over the prick assuming I am drunk, because I got sick, and I look drunk because I just woke up about 10 minutes earlier!!! My poor kids were scared to death!! Bill and I were mad because he kept calling me drunk but not testing me, or asking for any info. I think it had to do with the heat, cause even today I am fine when inside, but when I get out in the heat I get sick to my stomach. Thanks to Mike & Paula for getting out of bed at 4 am and coming to get us and take my truck home.

This is what I think.......

I think that maybe the Def Leppard/ Journey concert should not be attended by us, and instead I should have a big house warming/bon fire party that weekend instead. It would be a hell of alot cheaper. Sound OK to everyone?

Making a decision

Last night we filled out the contract for the house, it is being faxed to the listing agent this morning at 9am, they have until 8pm tonight to decide if they accept it or not. Bill made me choode a closing date last night, I was told that I would have to give something up if they accept the offer on the house. We could either close on the 21st of June, which means we would move the weekend of the 24th, which is also the weekend of The Phantom Of The Opera or close on the close on the 28th of June, and move the weekend of July 1st, which is Mike & Diana's annual party. Soooooooooo I chose the 21st. It is killing me, I have always wanted to go see Phantom, and now I have to possibly give it up. Which is even worse is that we paid $100.00 a ticket to go!!! It was hard!! I tried to talk Bill into the June 14th, but he said no, because our mortgage lady said she really needs a full 3 weeks. It is 3 weeks but, if they except we still have negotating to do after we get the appraisal and building inspection, and they said figure a week for that. Anyway as disappointed as I am about giving that up, I am also very excited and can not wait for this day to get over with. I wish I had a cell phone, cause Krystal is going to call Bill's cell today if she hears from them before 5pm, after that she will call us here at the house. So if they decide early in the day, I have to wait until I get home and see Bill, and if he knows I will have to pry it out of him!!!!

Our Dog

Our dog Jack has quite the personality. He can not stand to get a bath, but loves to play in sprinkler. He was so funny today, and very wet and stinky!! Here is a video of my goofy dog!! He would not stop barking at the water.

So I was looking at appliances today at Sears.com, and found some of the stuff I would like to have. The only problem I am having is choosing a color. I can't make up my mind. I like Stainless Steel but if it is not kept perfectly clean all the time it looks like crap. I like white along with the bisque, because they are light colors, but the only problem with them is that, like the fridge I have now, it has a texured handle that no matter how much I scrub it is gross looking. Then of course is black, I don't really want a color that dark, but on the other hand I think it looks cleaner. I am also baseing this info on alot of the houses that I clean. So what do you guys think? I am thinking black, then have white cabinets and white counter tops. One of the houses I clean, I love his kitchen. He has the black appliances, with the white counters & cabinets, and it is really a beautiful kitchen. Please tell me what you think.
Peace out......Krystal should be here real, so we can fill out the contract. Byebye!

Finally.......

Finally my husband speaks!! We are going to write up a contract Sunday evening and offer a bid on the house, Krystal said to only give them about 24-48 hours to respond to it. Wish us luck and keep your fingers crossed for us!!

Also I have a timer in my car, so of course we timed it and checked the miles tonight. From the entrance to our subdivision to the driveway of the house is 24 miles and it takes about 30 minutes. So I hope our friends are willing to make the occasional drive.

Men/Boys are funny!

Yesterday Bill purchased a new toy, oops......I mean a new yard tool. I am not sure who is more excited him or Kenny. It took Bill about 3 minutes to cut the backyard with it yesterday.

Does anyone know who were the top 3 on Idol last season, We know Carrie & Bo, but can't figure out who the 3rd person was, anyone remember?

2nd Viewing

Soooooo.....we went to the house again tonight. We were there for about an hour or so. The house is going to need alot of work, but it is totally livable. Our agent called the sellers agent and we basically got good news. She pretty much said that when they listed the house, they had no idea what to list it for, she said to have the people interested in it to make an offer. So we are thinking that we might be able to get this house even cheaper than what we had planned. Just warning you guys now, if we do buy this house, please do not let the really ugly wood paneling turn you off on the house. Try to look past it. When we got there tonight it took Bill quite awhile to be able to look past the paneling and see possibilities....I know you are thinking ..no problem........or..it can't be that bad. Well to me it is, but I had no problems looking at what could be done. The paneling makes the house look really cheap and old, in all reality the house is only 17 years old, only 3 years older than the one we live in now. I took a but load of pictures!!

Today at work was a pretty cool day for me........I cleaned Jimmy Kennedy's house. If you are wondering "who is that" He plays for the Rams!! He is #73, he is a NT (nose tackle) or you could just say a defensive tackle. He is a very nice guy. I was there when he got home from the hospital with his new born son, whom he had to show off to us. Very awesome also. He lives in Camelot, where Orlando Pace also lives.

The House

Well I applied with some mortgage companies, We were preapproved today. So tomorrow we go out to the house again for a 2nd showing, then Wend. evening we meet with one of the mortgage people. Hopefully within a month or so we should be in a house!! When we were at Chili's for dinner tonight, Bill said that he wants to build a bar in one of the outbuildings. The one that is attached to the workshop, which would work out really good, being that the work shop already has a woodstove in it, and we are taking the garage furnace with us. This is all based upon if we get this house of course. I am kinda of scared cause the pre-approval went so easily. We can't pay full price for the house. If the people who are selling it are not willing to come down on the price, then there is no way we could buy the house. Wish us luck!! By the way, we will be here for Idol tomorrow night. We go to see the house at 5pm, so we should be back in time, if not you guys know how to get in. Just beaware of the big bad dog in our garage!!! :D

The Weekend

What a weekend!! It started off with not having to work at Papa Murphy's which was kinda weird. Then we didn't have a whole hell of alot to do this weekend. A pretty boring weekend as a matter of fact. Saturday Bill played golf, the kids & I looked at houses. We found 2 that we really like. Slept in today since it was Mother's Day. I cooked a meal that my husband refused to eat but I figured it is Mother's Day so I will cook want I want. It was really good. Grandma & Grandpa K. joined us for dinner and they loved the food. The kids gave me a candle and roses with carnations. Very pretty!!! We loaded up in the car and took Bill to see 1 of the houses that we really liked. He also liked it, the property is just beautiful!!! I applied online tonight for some home loans with 5 different lenders. The house is kinda out there, but it is totally what we are looking for. Now just keep your fingers crossed that we can get it. We took Jack with us, and it was funny watching him and the kids. That dog ran all over, he has never been able to run like he did tonight. He was so wore out when we got home. Bill keeps telling me to not get to excited, cause we don't know what is going to happen. But it is so hard to not get excited when all 4 of us actually agree on something!! It is about 25 1/2 miles from my current house up Hwy 79. The other house we found is 1 mile from the Warrenton exit.

Here are some pictures: They do no justice at all!!! The house sits on 3.11 acres. It would be great place for parties & bon fires!!! It would be awesome for a Halloween party!!

When you pull into the driveway.

The front of the house.

Standing in driveway looking at the front left side of house.

Standing on the backside of above photo looking toward driveway.

Backside of house looking in the opposite direction on the property from the above pictures.

The inside needs some updating: But everything is very fixable!!

The wood paneling would have to go bye bye!

Notice all the outlets in the living room, Bill said that is normal for these kind of homes. I thought it was quite funny, every room has a butt load of outlets.

Again the paneling needs to go, and some new light fixtures and faucets.

Again a bunch of outlets!

The bathroom is pretty nice, new faucets and maybe some new tile. It is a pretty big bathroom and Kayla loves the tub.

Well I am off to bed!! It is late and I need some sleep.
