Random Thoughts

We have a new teen boy in the neighborhood, actually in the red house in front of ours. His name is Tyler, he is in 8th grade & a skater boy. Oh yeah and ALL the girls around here are just ga-ga for him!! He is all I hear about! Kayla totally has a crush! Bill says he will talk to her and take care of the crush! Dads can be so mean!! She thinks he has great hair! I just laugh at the girls.

********************************

It snowed last night, it was pretty thick for awhile, I really thought we would end up with more! I forgot how much Jack loves to play in the snow. He is so funny just to watch, he goes crazy. The cats were even out in it last night, which kind of surprised me.

*********************************

Most chicks I know that when they have that monthly craving it is for chocalate, well not me.......Even though Mother Nature doesn't visit me anymore, I still get cravings. I crave...............CHEESE!! Not American sliced cheese either, I want Cheddar or Colby!! I guess I am just weird like that!! Oh well not that my ass needs chocalate anyway! Doesn't need the cheese either, but it is in the same catergory as Dr. Pepper.........It is something I will never ever give up.

*********************************

Another great invention idea!!! When the sign says express lane 10 items or less. I think the register should quit scanning items after 10 scans per purchase!! I hate going to the store to purchase 2 or 3 items, get into the express lane only to find the person in front of me has 50 items in their cart!! UGHHHH!!! That drives me insane!!! Almost as insane as th assholes who were tailgating me on the way home last night. I was doing 25 in a 60 yes, but everytime I hit 30, I would slide and my traction control would come on. Hwy 79 was REALLY bad last night.

I need to get to work!!

Peace Out My Readers!!!!!

Teenagers UUGGGHHH!!!

Yesterday was not a good day for my teen!! It started off with a fight between her & me. I was getting ready to take her to the bus stop, and she put on a hoodie sweatshirt and started for the door. I told her to put on a coat. Her response is that the zipper is broke, so I told her to wear a different one, she has 3!! Then she told me she can't because it won't fit in her locker. My response is I don't care, put on a coat!! NOW!! She tried arguing some more and that is when I started to yell and told her that I told her to put on a coat end of discussion! So now she is mad and ready to cry. Then I asked her that I bet if I took her to school today that I would see at least 1 kid wearing a coat, she says no I won't nobody wears a coat! Now I am really starting to get mad cause we are still fighting about the coat issue...........So I told her to put on her coat, that I am taking her to school. If I count at least 10 kids with coats on then she is losing her big bedroom. Well now she has decided the fight is over. She does NOT want me to take her to school, and she is going to put on a coat.

Score: Mom 1
Teen 0

I come home from work last night, and there is a smell in my house that is REALLY bad! Someone has been cooking, and that food that was cooked is not edible!! Kayla decided to make toast. In the microwave! She set it for 10 minutes!! So I opened some windows, turned on the attic fan (to suck the smell out, along with all the heat) and got out the febreeze. After about ten minutes and now a reeeeaaaalllllllyyyy cold house, the smell is not so bad.

Fast forward approx. 1 hour.

The smell is really bad again!! So I open the microwave(bad idea). It is brown inside, and the smell that comes out is ready to make me yak! I told Kayla that she needs to clean the microwave. (I can feel another fight coming) Her response, I did. Really I say as I am spraying a cleaner inside of it!! I tell her to look at the cleaner turning brown and running down the walls of the microwave!! I don't feel like fighting, so I clean the microwave, twice. The smell is stuck, it is not leaving!!! So I close the microwave. Time for a new one is my thinking, while I try to help the smell in the house again!!!

Fast forward approx. 1-2 hours.

Bill comes in and makes some soup, puts it in the microwave, really bad smell fills house again!!! So he throws out soup and makes something else, using the stove top of course!! Now I am sitting here typing this and smelling that wonderful smell!! Thinking it is a good thing that I don't have a busy day today. As soon as I get Kenny of to school within the 1/2 hour, I will be desmelling the house and throwing the microwave out!!

For sale:

*Teenager-great at taking care of house, makes good grades, priced real cheap!! Unbearable once a month for about a week! Comes with free microwave! Please call if interested!!

Have a great day!!

*I wouldn't give up my teen for anything!!!

Technology & Inventions

You would think that with the technology that there is today that someone could invent something to shut off a cars engine when the stupid person tries to run through a red light. My car will shut off if I back into a curb. I know I have done it before. It shu off and I had to put in in park, take the keys out, them put them back in of course to get it to restart. So why can't they do it for red lights? It drives me nuts when the light turns red and just about 3 or 4 more cars still go through. Also I think should come up with some kind of deer sensor, kinda of like depth finder for fishermen. It sits on your dash and detects if there is something within so many feet of the road. It sure would make driving these countries roads at night a little easier. I'm just sayin'!

The work in the house is not to far away from being done. I have to get it done by Tuesday, since we will be having house guest for the week. The kids are so excited that Jen, Sean & the boys will be staying with us. Kayla was more than willing to give up her new room for the week. Jen was pretty excited that they are going to have a 60 inch TV in their room. I have so much trash, I hope the trash man will take it all on Monday!! If not we are bummin since Thanksgiving is right around the corner! This year has just flown right by, I can't believe that is almost Christmas already!!

My mom broke a bone in her ankle the other night, so somehow I got stuck with the dog until Monday. She is a pain in the butt! She is constantly barking, she keeps nipping at Jack. I can not keep her off the furniture. I am going to give her one more night, then I may be making my sister take her. On top of everything, Jack to a big ole crap in the house last night, I don't know if he was having a stomach issue or if it is because of the other dog. But I do know this, if he does it again he will be grounded from my house for a week!! My stomach was not ready for that this morning!

If you have not gone and added to Dave's, Dick and Jane story, then you should. I check it several time a day to see if anyone has added to it, so far not to many. I think it could be really neat if everyone would add to it!!!

Well Wii the people must be getting off to work!!

Shopping with my sister Jenifred

Tonight I did some new stuff for the new bedroom shopping with Jennifer. I am not sure about Jen, but I had fun. I bought my first ever Egytian Cotton sheets! OMG! I can not wait to sleep on them tonight! I also bought a window scarf & hangers. Then when we were at Kohls I bought 3 accent pillows. They were on sale, the only thing is I won't have 2 of them until Jen gets here.

So in case you are wondering, how in the hell was I shopping with Jen..............I kept calling her to get her opinion on things. Then I went to Kohls in O'Fallon, and she went to Kohls up there by her house, and we talked on the phone while we were shopping. Anyway I like shopping with Jen, I will be reeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy glad if they move home next year.

Now I just have to go buy new bedside lamps & I need to find a dark purple bedskirt.

Speaking of Jen....................When we were at Target we were talking about Daughtry, Just so you know, he is opening for Bon Jovi on Feb. 21 at the Bradley center in Milwaukee.

Painting update

Our new bedroom & closet are done. I have a few touch ups to do & I have to finish the nightstands, but we are moving in tonight. Bill also has to get all of the new baseboards yet. It looks great!!

Finally I realized the secret to painters tape last night! You have to take it off while the paint is still wet. Even if your painting is a 2 day project. I had left the tape on from the first night, and pulled it off last night. I was not happy when it pulled of!!! I have torn paint all along the one door now, and it looks like crap! I am not happy about this at all. Now I have to go through and fix it all.

I also realized that the former owners are total & complete idiots!!!! I don't even know where to start with all the stupid stuff they did!!! Lets see first thing! When they finished this side of the house, they must have finished it as one big room, they even had baseboard up, then they must have decided to put of the dividing wall, the reason I think this is because the baseboard is stuck into the wall where the partial wall meets one of the main walls. I could go on & on. But lucky for you I won't!

I knew the carpets were dirty but you really realize how bad they are when you move all the furniture out of a room. HOLY CRAP!!! They look bad. The problem is we could rent one, but we need it for about 2 weeks. I have to go to the store later, so I am going to look into it.

Gotta go paint the nightstands! Have a great day!

Painting

I have started painting. I must say that I reeeaaalllyyy love the colors I am using in our new to be bedroom!! The green is darker than I thought, but that is ok, cause it looks really good. Doug had made the comment awhile back that the colors I picked were warm, relaxing colors. I must say that I agree. Bill is getting all new baseboards. When we pulled off the old ones, I discovered that they just put up whatever they had. The board on one wall was not the same as the next wall. Those were some really classy people living here!! I also told Bill that I think some crown moulding would look really good.(hint, hint)

I have also started painting the UGLY old night stands of ours. I am painting them white. I must say they are starting to look pretty good! I just finished the 3rd coat of killz on my nightstand. It will probably need at least 2 more coats.

My living room is a disaster area! It has so much crap piled in it right now! Poor Bill, he hates messes! Sorry honey! I love you!! It will be great when I am done!! I promise!!

I would post pictures, but sorry I can't.......camera doesn't work.

Does anyone have a carpet cleaner I can borrow for about 2 weeks??? If I could clean the carpets then that would be awesome. Eventually I am going to go buy one. The vaccuum store has a GREAT cleaner for $300.00 which is not bad for a good cleaner.

Gotta go for now, off to my day job!!

Bruised Pride

I had my pride hurt...........I like my house, let me rephrase that......I Love My House!! I have since the very first time I saw it. Yes I will agree it is not pretty, but it will be. I understand that it is going to take a few years to have everything the way I want it. But it will happen and it will be beautiful! I will be the first one to admit that it was faaaarrrrrrr from beautiful when we first bought it. The one thing Bill & I always wanted was a house that we can make our own. This house is it, it has lots of making to go. I am sorry if my house is not good enough for you. I am sorry that you almost have to put your feet in the shower to pee. Eventually the old bathroom will get finished and it will be flippin awesome! I can see it in my head. I do miss having a big bathroom, but it will be so worth it when it is finally done. If you are uncomfortable at my house because of the way it looks, then please do yourself & me a favor, do not come to my house. I have gotten it off my chest, but the bruise is still there! That sucks!!

So anyway......................................................

Watched the movie Premonition yesterday..........really good flick!! Also rented Spiderman 3, but we haven't watched it yet. I didn't even know it was out, Kenny saw it and had a fit. For someone who doesn't like Spiderman anymore, he sure was persistent!

We went to the annual farm party Saturday. It was fun......We ran through the corn maze at night, that was reallllly fun. It was also really funny listening to the team of Paula, Mike & Kayla argue in the maze about which way to go. They were crackin me up. Kenny had a blast hiding and scaring people.

Anyone who has the urge to paint, feel free to come to my house this weekend. That is my plan for the weekend. I am painting & moving furniture. Sounds like fun doesn't it!! It will be so fun!!!

Time for me to go, I have to take Kenny to the bus stop.

Winfield

Tonight is the big night. Kenny & his football team are playing half time at the Winfield Varsity football game under the Friday night lights. The boys are so excited, hell I am excited! Coach told the boys last night that the high school cheerleaders made them a banner to run through when they go out on the field, so they are even more pumped up. It was funny, coach told them that the cheerleaders holding the banner aren't real cheerleaders, that they are going to be guys dressed like girls, all the boys starting booing, then he informed them that it really would be real cheerleaders who are girls. That made them happy again. If you watch Fox 2 in th morning then you will see that Tim Ezell is at the Winfield High School this morning for the Friday morning pep rally. Our varsity football team is 6-1. Tonight is our last home game against Kirksville. I feel bad for the Kirksville team, that is a long drive!!

Onto to other news:

This is a funny story,

Couple Make Burglar Clean Up at Gunpoint
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- A burglar in Montgomery chose the wrong family to mess with, literally. Adrian and Tiffany McKinnon returned home on Tuesday after a week away to find that thieves had emptied almost everything the family of five owned, Tiffany McKinnon said through tears.
"Tears just rolled down my face as I walked in and saw everything gone and piles of trash all over my home," she said.
Adrian McKinnon sent his wife to see her sister while he inspected the piles left behind. As he walked back into the sunroom, a man walked through the back door straight into him, Tiffany McKinnon told the Montgomery Advertiser in a story Thursday.
"My husband Adrian caught the thief red-handed in our home," she said. "And what is even crazier, the man even had my husband's hat sitting right on his head."
Adrian McKinnon held the suspect, 33-year-old Tajuan Bullock, at gunpoint and told him to sit on the floor until he decided what to do.
"We made this man clean up all the mess he made, piles of stuff, he had thrown out of my drawers and cabinets onto the floor," Tiffany McKinnon said.
When police arrived, Bullock complained about being forced to clean the home at gunpoint.
"This man had the nerve to raise sand about us making him clean up the mess he made in my house," she said. "The police officer laughed at him when he complained and said anybody else would have shot him dead."
Capt. Huey Thornton, a police spokesman, said police arrested Bullock at 2 p.m. Tuesday on burglary and theft charges. He was being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $30,000 bond.
"The victims were lucky in this case to be able to catch the suspect in the act and hold him until police arrived," Thornton said.
Also: This used to be a great school, I loved this school!!
Gang Concerns Cancel Hazelwood West Homecoming Activities
(KTVI - myFOXstl.com) -- A possible gang threat has forced the cancellation of a celebration at Hazelwood West High School tonight. The annual homecoming bonfire and pep rally have been cancelled. Parents tell FOX 2 the events have been called off because of security concerns. Reportedly Hazelwood police are warning that gang members had targeted the event. Just two weeks ago classes here were cancelled for the day after someone painted a threat on the sidewalk in front of Hazelwood West.
I just saw this add, I have to get tickets and take the kids!!!!! Anybody want to go??

In my head

For the last several weeks I have had several songs in my head, I wake up in the morning with them being sang in my head, and go to sleep the same way. I love the new Matchbox Twenty, I knew I would since they are 1 of my favorite bands. I am really liking the new stuff from Maroon 5, and then there is Big girls don't cry by Fergie, Shut Up & Drive by Rhianna, & The Saints are coming by Green Day & U2.................................................Speaking of music, When Garth Brooks came out with the Chris Gaines cd, I never bought it or heard any of it. Well Al brought his cd over. I like it, Bill reaaaalllly likes it.

Bill has thought of another type of dog that he really wants...............An English Mastiff. Holy crap they are big dogs..........average 36 inches tall at the shoulder!! And about 220-250 pounds!

I hate it when someone comes up with combined names for celebrities, for example: Beniffer or Bragelina. It is just not right.

Jen, you should of came in town this weekend instead of next!! It would be so fun to have you with us on the winery trip this weekend!!!!!

Been thinking about the renting a house on a beach, I hope we go through with it, cause I am really looking forward to it. I think it would be so FUN!

Chris Johnson Out!!

Playing catch up

As usual I am a blogger slacker, so now I have to get caught up on everything in the last few weeks.

Went to my first pro football game, not so impressed. I had a hard time keeping track of the football, I am so used to watching it on TV. I spent alot of time watching it on the TV out by the consession stands. I grew up watching up football on TV, I remember when there was only 3 grandchildren, and sitting on grandpa's lap every Sunday watching football. (There are 12 grandchildren now) I just did not expect it to be so hard to follow. I would like to go again, I think it just takes getting used to, to be able to keep track of it.

Speaking of football...........Most of you know that Kenny is on his first football team this year. It is a select team with the St. Louis Gateway League. They are not actually playing this year, they are just learning how to play this year. This past week Kenny has gotten about 85% of his uniform. Kennys team will be playing a scrimmage at the Winfield High School. I think it is going to be 10-19-07, they are playing during half time. The coach wants them to see what it is like to play under the Friday night lights. I am pretty excited about that!!!

So then there was 1, that is the total number of chickens we have left. We lost one sometime earlier this evening.

I think we might have more baby bunnies real soon.

Bill put in a attic fan last night. WOW! It sure does suck some air into the house! I was freezing last night.

So all the new shows have started. It has been a good 2 weeks! I have started on my usual Survivor:China, so far so good. Heroes also started this week, I am not so sure yet how I felt about the first episode, I wasn't crazy about but then again I love the show. I Tivo'ed a new show named Cane, but while I was out, someone stopped it, so all I got was 8 minutes of it, so that totally blows. I also watched Bionic Woman, that was actually pretty good. Last but not least.................House: All I can say is that show never lets me down, I truly love that show, and thought the first episode was great!!!! I am really missing Army Wives though, the season for that just ended. It will not be back on until spring 08. I just read that it was the most popular show ever on lifetime.

Sprint drives me insane!! I have asked them 2 times in 2 different stores, and 3 times on the phone to add the internet package to my phone. They haven't, so today I find out that my phone has been shut off. So I call sprint............get ready for this........................
they shut it off because I owe them $144.00.........WTF!! I signed up with Sprint on Aug. 20th, how the hell do I owe them that. One of the things the lady kept saying on the phone that I owe them for the July 20th to Aug 20th billing cycle and now I owe them for the Aug 20th to Sept 20th billing cycle. But even at $65.00 a month that doesn't add up, on top of the fact when she kept saying July to Aug.........HELLO!! I signed up with Sprint on Aug 20th..........why am I being charged for July! I was so mad! Another thing they forgot to do in the store is inform me that I had to pay for a month of service, so that explains the July-Aug thing, but here is the topping on the cake..............1. The lady said that even if I tried I would not have been able to make a payment between Aug 20th & Sept 20th because it is a new account. 2. I just got my first bill from them yesterday!!!! Again WTF!!! All I can truly say is that I hate Sprint.........Oh and back to the whole internet thing, they were charging me for all my daily internet usuage!!! And you know what makes me even happier about all this BS.........I can't ever seem to get anyone who can speak clear ENGLISH!!! All this is 37 days already. I have 693 more days in my contract before I can tell them to kiss my @ss, and go back to AT&T. I may sometime in the future just pay the $200.00 to get out of my contract with them. I know that alot of you have Sprint and it has always been fine for you, all I can say is..........Welcome to my life, nothing ever goes right!!!

*The good thing with sprint is that while on the phone, they were special.....I was paying $5.00 for 300 text a month, and they were having a special. Unlimited texting for $10.00, so now I have unlimited!!

Yes Dave I am bitching again!!!! So bite me!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I think I am done for now!!

So much to blog about.........So little time

I have had a post in my head for about 2 weeks now, but have not had time to post it. So here I go...........................

Things that drive me insane(pet peeves)

Dirty ashtrays (I know I am a smoker, but what I mean by a dirty ashtray, is one that needs to be emptied)

Dirty windshields (This I can't stand, every Friday when I use my moms car for work I have to clean the windshield)

People who do not use a turn signal

People who ride your ass on the highway or any other road (The part that gets me with this is, you get over so they can get by, then get back over and then they slow down to a speed that is slower than what you were doing when they were riding your ass)

People who take off like a bat out of hell to get in front of you when 2 lanes that go into 1, then slow down to 45 in a 60 (That drives me nuts, it is making my blood boil just thinking about it)

People who are just plain ass stupid and obnoxious!!! (I still love all you guys anyway) (LOL!!)

People who bitch about pet peeves on their blogs!! Hehe!

Now to change the subject...............................

Paula I am so looking forward to your uppercase party!! I am going to one this Sunday and can't wait. I already have my order picked out.

I got a magazine in the mail the other day,OMG!! I love some of the stuff in this book! It is called Seventh Avenue. I have made a wish list, which will be given to my husband!!

Look at some of this cool stuff!!! I am soooooooooo ready to start decorating this house of mine, I have finally found some stuff I like, I have found my sheers at JC Penny, and now I have found a rug that I want in the colors that I have been looking for.

I would not arrange this the way it is shown.

The blue one!!!

So there it is, what are your pet peeves? It would give you something to blog about if you have blogged in a really, really long time!!!

Also I want to say THANKS DAVE!!! I love it!!!

New Things

We have 8 new baby bunnies, Angel was due on Saturday and on Sunday she had her babies. How fun!! I am sure the rabbits enjoyed the cool off from the storm last night. I am glad we got rain, I don't have to water anything this morning. But I was really looking forward to being able to watch the meteor shower last night, but thanks to the storm that didn't happen. We finally live somewhere to be able to watch that kind of stuff, when it finally happens, it has to freakin storm.

I have discovered a new laundry soap. Actually it is not new, it has been around forever, I just never bought it. The only reason I bought it is because one of my customers uses it, so I asked her what she uses. It is Gain, just plain ole Gain laundry soap. That stuff smells so GOOD!! I did laundry all day yesterday and Kayla & I kept smellling all the towels as I was folding them. It is not as pricey as Tide or Cheer, but not as cheap as Purex. It is a in between brand. I also bought the fabric softner.

As of next week I will have a cell phone, I have purchased Daves Sprint PocketPC. So I will let all of you important people out there know the number when I get it.

I am out of here!! We are off to school to get schedules, then to EB Games to shop, then we are finally going to see Transformers.

Peace Out!!!

In the air:

There is something in the air the past couple of weeks. I just wonder who is going to catch it next.

It seems to be called the Harley Virus:

First Damon caught it. Then I found out today that Dave, Scubas' brother has caught it, and then just a couple of hours ago I was informed that my Uncle Benny has caught it.

Yes all 3 of these guys have recently bought a Harley motorcycle. All I can say is that they............SUCK!! I love Harleys'. I told Kayla a couple of years ago, that if a boy comes over to pick her up on a date and it is not a Harley then there is going to be trouble!! :D

So anyway, Dave is supposed to be driving his new bike down to Drunkfest, he is picking it up tomorrow.

Correction for my last post: Those are not wild raspberry bushes, they are wild blackberry bushes!! Even better!!

TTFN!

Slacker

I have been a major slacker, so I am going to try to catch up:

It is getting ready to storm, so I thought I would take a couple of pictures since the sky looked cool!!

I watered the flowers earlier and then decided to to go take care of the tomato plants. I am very excited I have about 30 roma tomatoes on my plant, about 6 or 7 will be ready to be picked in the next couple of days. Anyway, as I was taking care of them, something very red caught my eye. I found 2 wild raspberry bushes, right on the tree line by the tomatoes!

We are so not even close to being ready for DF next week! I haven't even bought water shoes yet!!

Subject change again...........

Silly boys, Trucks are for girls!!

Have you seen this truck? When I was at the Ford dealership the other day, I saw this, and of course totally fell in love!! This is the Ford F-650, I could go into all the details of this truck, but I won't bore my female readers! All I know is one day whenever we decide to play the lottery and we win, I am getting on of these $100,000.00 trucks!! Could you imagine going on DF with one of these!!

Things to do this summer/fall: (Hopefully some of you will be joining us!!)

Go to Six Flags

Go to the drive in (I found one about40 minutes from my house)

Yeah thats all I got!!

Finally the last thing I have is:

My husband surprised me witha present today! I laughed at first, but it is actually very handy! It is a 4 wheel drive hose cart that will hold up to 300 ft of hose. The picture does it no justice, it looks very small in the picture, but it is actually pretty frickin big!! Men are just to funny!!

Randomness

This morning while waiting with Kenny at the bus stop, I see our bus coming. Then for some unknown reason the bus pulls into a driveway and then backs out. Straight out and into the ditch. The back of the bus was in the ditch on the side of Hwy Y, and the middle was stuck on the concrete. I don't understand why he did that, was thankful my kid was not on the bus. So I took Kenny to school & a little boy from the next stop.

Also this morning while on craigs list I came across a funny ad:

Stripper Pole For Sale, Lighted Stage, Chrome Pole - $600

This elegant stripper pole is just what you need to set of a party or start your own business. It has a four foot by four foot lighted stage that can hold up to 250 pounds. (hopefully that is two girls and not one) It has a chrome pole 7 1/2 foot. It is very sturdy and well built with a steel frame and fully enclosed in black plexi glass. This item is in mint condition and was over $1000 new. Call me @ 314 393 9633 if you have any questions.

I was cracking up at the line that says:

can hold up to 250 pounds. (hopefully that is two girls and not one)

Some of the stuff people say & do just cracks me up!!!

Charles & Grant were out here for the first time last Friday night. I think they had a good time. Bill let them drive the 4 wheeler, which they loved! They wanted to spend the night, and we both wish they could of. Hopefully next time they are in town they can stay. It was nice to get to see them being since we don't get to see them much or spend time with them.

I always thought that my cat was a talker, HA! Daves cat Kramer is waaaayyyyyyyyyy more of a talker!! Holy cow! When I was over there yesterday, he was purring and lovey, followed me everywhere, that is if I was carring him. His voice is way louder than Zeus's!

All of our jerk friends are back from Mexico! All I have to say is that:

It smells like cheese!!!

What has been going on.....................

I have been a busy little bee lately.

I have all of the float trip disc done and ready to go. I edited, added & reburned. We have 17 disc. I still have to make the bus ride disc that Bill wants, and then I have to make the Friday night mp3.

I have also sold some stuff on ebay. I have been doing a butt load of laundry. Bill has me hanging laundry outside also along with using the dryer. It sure does help. I all week have had a laundry basket strapped to the front of the 4 wheeler.

The other afternoon when I was hanging laundry on the clothesline, I had a vision that had me cracking up. The chickens were clucking rather loudly and I was hanging clothes on the clothesline, and I thought to myself that all I need now is a gingham print dress and an apron. I felt like a old farmer lady!!

Speaking of chickens, we are now down to 4! Something has been eating good for the last 2 weeks.

I was pretty excited the other day. I got Jack 3 months worth of frontline for about the same price as 1 month off of ebay! The ticks are really bad this year. Poor Jack, they are just feasting on him. Now I just have to get the kittens some frontline and we will be good to go.

I took Kayla shopping the other day, she bought a blue neon clock for her room, and some Sony speakers for her new mp3 player. Which of course she had me put songs on. So far we have 167 songs on it. Now Kenny is bugging my for more songs on his mp3 player, and her wants some portable speakers like Kayla got. She can't wait to take them on the camping trip in August. Now I just have to get my self an mp3 player, I want one for work.

I am addicted to Craigs list. I check it several times a day.

Well I am off to bed, I have a very busy day tomorrow.

Peace Out!!!

Here we grow again!

Here our newsest family members. They are adding to our list of:
7 Chickens
4 Rabbits
1 Cat
1 Dog
And now
2 Kittens.............

We should know Thursday if we are getting another dog. (We are trying to get Payden, Alan's dog) Keep your fingers crossed for us!!

We let the kids each pick one, Kenny picked out the girl, which is the one with stripes. He named her Cheyenne. Kayla picked out the little boy, and named him Sylar.

Just to give you an idea of how little they are, Bill put them in plastic cups.

Oh no you didn't............................Oh yes I did!!

Being that our bathtub is in one of the building with firewood in it, I haven't been able to teach Kayla how to shave. So on the day of her dance I had to teach her. Of course the only place to do it was out at the waterpump.

She says now she has a story for kids, about how she had to sit outside and at a waterpump to shave her legs. She is calling it one of her redneck childhood stories. Pretty funny stuff!!

Thats all I have! I am going to bed!!!

1 down, 3 to go!!!!

Crazy I Say!

I went to mom's Diva Girl Purse party tonight. When I go home and did a few things. Now I find myself at the computer. I was on ebay just looking up stuff when I came across this purse. It is like one of the designer inspired purses that I saw tonight and thought was pretty darn ugly. It is on Ebay for $5,300.00!!!!! That is just crazy I say!!!

Hell if I was going to spend $5,000.00 it would not be on a purse, instead I would be buying tickets to Mexico :D

Just do it!!!

I am starting to get a little upset with 2 people I ordered some stuff from on ebay. The payment cleared for the items over 3 weeks ago. I have heard nothing! I have tried email them, and still nothing! I am an impatient person........I WANT MY STUFF!!!

We are down to 2 bunnies now. They are getting big, and they are starting to get so cute! Kayla is going to be distraught the day Bill decides he is having one for dinner!

Tomorrow is Kayla's dance. I am going to order her some flowers today. I am getting off work early tomorrow to help her get ready.

Not much of anything else going on.

Kenny's first baseball game

Kenny had his first baseball game yesterday. I am not sure who won, I had to leave right before the game ended so I could come home & make dinner.

Kenny playing 2nd base

His first time at bat.

Our catcher is a very small kid named Jonah, he is a hoot! He looks so funny in the gear cause he is so small. He loves baseball, if you look he is making signals to the pitcher. (Each coach pitches to his own team) He was cracking us up! Coach kept telling him that he didn't need to do that, but he kept on!
One of our baby bunnies died, so now we only have 2. :(
I love my new purse Paula!!

Pictures & stealing from Jen

Here are some pictures that I have taken in the past week!

The first set is from a field trip I went on with Kenny's class to the new stadium. I really hated to see the old stadium go, since I have so many memories at the old stadium, but I must say that the new stadium is beautiful!!!!

Here is a picture of the boys down on the field.

This is the Josh Hancock memorial.

Kenny & I in the Cardinals dugout.

(We were both very excited to be sitting down there!)

Where the pre & post game is taped.

The view from the media room, wow what a great view of the game!
Kenny & a friend standing where Al Hrabosky & Dan McLaughlin sit.
Emma kept attacking Kenny, it was so cute.
Then finally she just went over and laid her head on his leg.
Last but not least. The newest addition to our family.
Angel had 3 babies on Thursday evening.
They are 2 days old in these pictures.

I saw this on Jens blog, thought it was pretty cute, so now I am stealing it from her.

Project #1.....Done!!

Finally the 1st of my projects is done!! The doors are painted! I am not so sure if Bill likes it, but I do! Kayla & I also went Sunday and spent $150.00 on flowers. We bought 3 flats,4 hanging baskets,9 tomato plants,1 hot pepper plant,2 hostas, & 2 raspberry bushes. Everything is planted except for the 2 hostas. I have yet to figure out where the hell to put them! They need to be planted in a part shade area, and everything is full sun. So the next project will be the room swap & painting. Which includes the surprise for Kayla. I think when I go buy the paint for our rooms, I will take Kayla with me and have her get a bunch of paint colors to help decide what she wants, then I think I will paint her room before I move her into it.

Not much else has been going on, I got my first sunburn of the year today. I also got really lucky with a near DF disaster! That was really scary, my heart was pounding. But it is all good now. Also booked the campsites for the family trip. The dates are Aug. 3-6 for anyone who wants to joins us. Of course you don't have to stay all those days. Bill & I have been wanting to stay the extra day for awhile now, and this year we will.
I used something new to send out the Memorial weekend party invite, I am not sure if anyone got them or not, so we are going to have a BBQ & bonfire on May 26th. Bring lawnchairs, a dish, & BYOB. It starts at 2pm.
I am outta here, I need some sleep, tomorrow is the field trip to Busch stadium with all of the 2nd graders! Wish the cards were in town. Since they aren't there won't be that chance to meet any of them.
Night!
