Hook,Line, & Sinker
Since I am talking about TV shows, I am just waiting for it all to blow on House, it is really starting to build, and when it does blow it will be great!!
I got away from all the shows I used to watch and only stayed true to one, which is Survivor, but now thanks to Bill (House) & Doug (Heroes) I am starting to get hooked on shows again. As I always do, I will again thank whoever invented DVR!
THANK YOU!!
Speaking of Bill & Doug, they are building again, they have more ideas for the bar. They are just to funny.

Growing up I was always enjoyed looking at the stars. I always tried to find different clusters, but could never find anything but the big & little dipper. Well since we have moved to the new house, my intrest has really grown, especially since a really good friend of ours has actually showed me a couple of things. Well this friend, lets call himmmmmmmm...."Dave", has a pretty cool telescope, we have talked about him bringing it out. Well I think it is time for "Dave" to bring it out and teach me some more!!

Fall
I didn't realize how much Kenny has grown over the summer, he had a huge growing spurt. In late spring/early summer he was wearing size 7 jeans, well now he is wearing size 9!! He went straight past all the size 8's he had! I thought he would be set for fall since he had about 15 pairs of jeans all size 7 & 8's. But nnnoooooooo!! Now he has 2 pair that fit him!! Darn kids why do they have to grow so fast!!

A little more this & very little that.......
Also yesterday I dropped my car off at the Ford dealership to find out what was going on with it. I had to get a rental. Well Ford called me at work and said that the rear brakes went out and it is not covered under the warranty, it is going to cost $199.00 for them to fix it, which includes labor, parts and the rental. I thought not bad, but still had to call Bill first. He says no way is he paying that much, he will do it himself, which of course caused me to panic!! Bill is a VERY handy guy, but a mechanic he is NOT!! So anyway I call back Ford and tell them that they can't fix it, it is to much money. Awhile later the dealership calls again, they are going to go ahead and fix it because it makes no sense why the rear brakes went out after only 16,000 miles. They said they should see wear on the front brakes but not enough to replace after that amount of miles, so the back ones shouldn't be that bad. But since this is not a warranty repair, I will have to pay for the rental, COOL! I can deal with that. This is the part that gets me:
When I bought my car I asked for a smokers package, which is a ashtray and cigarette lighter, I was told that you can only get that when you order your car from the factory. Well with my rental I was informed that there is to be NO SMOKING in the car, I had to sign off that if I smoked in the car they would charge me $1000.00. The rental had a ashtray and cigarette lighter in it!! I asked them if they had a smoking car, they said no all their cars are non smoking. I think that if I am paying for it I should be allowed to smoke in it also they should have cars that are for smokers. I know I am complaining about a bad subject with some people, but still I have rights also, I can understand not smoking in restaurants, but I think some of the rules that are coming about these days are just down right stupid! I could so go into this way more but this is not a political blog........Speaking of politics......
Mark Foley is a sick, sick man!!!!
So anyway I will be picking up my car this morning and I am going to chain smoke in it because I can!! (Not really)

A little this & a little that
When I first found our property it was spring and everything was so green and pretty that I fell in love, well this morning when I was sitting outside shortly after the sun rose that I realized that spring was nothing....Fall is beautiful....I love the fall. Here are some pics.
This next one I don't have much to say about other than I thought it was pretty cute!
Now this totally cracks me up!!! My husband who has NO Hair, thinks he needs to condition it! I refuse to let him use my products because they cost to much to let him waste on his bald head, this is what I found in the cabinet. It just totally cracks me up.
Last but least!!
Remember Screech from Saved by the bell.........This is very disturbing......He has starred in a porn!!!! Titled..............Saved by the smell!!! That just turns my stomach!!!

Do you know?

HA! Are you freakin kidding me!!!
*Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have be thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they get home and the prospect of a good meal is part of the warm welcome needed.
*Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.
*Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.
*Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Run a dustcloth over the tables.
*During the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering to his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.
*Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Encourage the children to be quiet.
*Be happy to see him.
*Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.
*Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.
*Don't greet him with complaints and problems.
*Don't complain if he's late for dinner or even if he stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have gone through at work.
*Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or lie him down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.
*Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.
*Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.
*A good wife always knows her place.

Things are changing
Another thing that is about to change is that the kids will no longer as of this weekend have satellite in their rooms, let me tell you they are not very happy about it. I told them that they should be thankful to even have a TV in their rooms!
Something is bothering me:
A person whom I care for posted on their blog finally, and this was the post.
Who your true friends are
I guess its a fact of life. When you break up with someone that you have dated for a LONG time, it is at that point and time that you find out who your true friends are.
You date someone for 9 years. YOU introduce this person to a group of people. You become friends with the same group for at least 6 of those 9 years. You do EVERYTHING with that group and I mean EVERYTHING.
6 years later you find yourself no longer with the person you were dating/living with while becoming such great friends with this group. The group that you thought were your friends suddenly stop calling you, asking you to hang out etc etc.
When He and I first broke up, the one thing I didnt think I would lose, out of everything else Ive lost due to this break-up, would be my friendship with this group. I never thought in a million years that I would become the outcast.
Apparently, I was wrong, thats what I get for thinking.
Its amazing how people can take sides so quickly and believe everything the other person is/has been telling them.
It amazes me that it can be thought that he had no fault whatsoever in this break-up. That Im the reason for this happening. I am completely at fault, to blame. That he is perfect (Which he even admitted to me that he thinks he is).
It amazes me that these people are being told things that are completely untrue, however, since he is telling them, theyre taking it as gospel.
This hurts so much and makes me cry often, but...the one thing I have found out of this realization, is that there is ONE person, out of the whole group, who is truly my friend.... And for that I want to thank her. I know she knows who she is.
A bit of advice to everyone out there that are friends with a couple that are going through a breakup: There is 2 sides to every story. Don't judge until you've heard both sides and know all the facts. Don't take sides. If you were true friends before, you should still be true friends after.
That's all I have to say about that.
Someone awhile back told me about seasonal friends. What is a seasonal friend you ask. Well they are your friend only because they have to be, like saying because of a marriage, or a relationship. But when that marriage or relationship ends then so does the friendship, they were only your friend because they had to be and it was for the season of the relationship. Well.....
I AM NOT A SEASONAL FRIEND!!!
I also hope that I don't have any seasonal friends. I am very hurt by this post. I have included this person on several occasions, but have been turned down because of the other person will be there. Don't blame me if you are trying to oust yourself. I have true feelings for you if you are reading this! Please don't be a seasonal friend!
Now I am going to go to bed and irratate my husband!!! Goodnight!

Welcome to the Chicken Ranch
For awhile now my husband has been wanting chickens, and has been telling me how he is going to get some. Well it started with getting 3 hens & 1 rooster, then a couple weeks later he says it will just be 3 hens, then the other night he says 5 hens. Well I came home tonight and we are now the parents of 9, yes I said 9 baby chickens or chicks. He said all they had left were 9 and he was going to buy 6 and that he couldn't leave the last 3 there all by themselves. I keep thinking "Thank Goodness They Are Not Great Danes!" He wanted to get them for this weekend, he thought it would be fun to have them here when everyone came out on Saturday. I will admit they are cute, but really how much fun are they, all they do is poop! I would rather have my neice poop on me, then it would be worth it! Soooooooo here are some picks of our 9 new babies!

It's been awhile...
Something happened Monday that every time I think about it, I start laughing. Bill brought a back hoe home to do some work. I was in the house unpacking when Kenny said to come outside. Bill wanted me. So when I got out there, Bill said he had found a rattlesnake. My first thought was Missouri does have a rattlesnake, but it is very unlikely to actually ever see one, but I will give him the benefit of doubt. So I start digging around, and I find Bill's "rattlesnake". It was a little bitty garden snake about 8 inches long, and thinner than my pinky finger. I laughed at him, picked up the little snake a put him in the woods so Bill could get back to work. I have never met anyone so scared of a little, and I mean little snake.

2nd Viewing
Today at work was a pretty cool day for me........I cleaned Jimmy Kennedy's house. If you are wondering "who is that" He plays for the Rams!! He is #73, he is a NT (nose tackle) or you could just say a defensive tackle. He is a very nice guy. I was there when he got home from the hospital with his new born son, whom he had to show off to us. Very awesome also. He lives in Camelot, where Orlando Pace also lives.

The House
The Weekend
What a weekend!! It started off with not having to work at Papa Murphy's which was kinda weird. Then we didn't have a whole hell of alot to do this weekend. A pretty boring weekend as a matter of fact. Saturday Bill played golf, the kids & I looked at houses. We found 2 that we really like. Slept in today since it was Mother's Day. I cooked a meal that my husband refused to eat but I figured it is Mother's Day so I will cook want I want. It was really good. Grandma & Grandpa K. joined us for dinner and they loved the food. The kids gave me a candle and roses with carnations. Very pretty!!! We loaded up in the car and took Bill to see 1 of the houses that we really liked. He also liked it, the property is just beautiful!!! I applied online tonight for some home loans with 5 different lenders. The house is kinda out there, but it is totally what we are looking for. Now just keep your fingers crossed that we can get it. We took Jack with us, and it was funny watching him and the kids. That dog ran all over, he has never been able to run like he did tonight. He was so wore out when we got home. Bill keeps telling me to not get to excited, cause we don't know what is going to happen. But it is so hard to not get excited when all 4 of us actually agree on something!! It is about 25 1/2 miles from my current house up Hwy 79. The other house we found is 1 mile from the Warrenton exit.
Here are some pictures: They do no justice at all!!! The house sits on 3.11 acres. It would be great place for parties & bon fires!!! It would be awesome for a Halloween party!!
The front of the house.
Standing in driveway looking at the front left side of house.
Standing on the backside of above photo looking toward driveway.
Backside of house looking in the opposite direction on the property from the above pictures.
The inside needs some updating: But everything is very fixable!!
The wood paneling would have to go bye bye!
Notice all the outlets in the living room, Bill said that is normal for these kind of homes. I thought it was quite funny, every room has a butt load of outlets.
Again the paneling needs to go, and some new light fixtures and faucets.
Again a bunch of outlets!
The bathroom is pretty nice, new faucets and maybe some new tile. It is a pretty big bathroom and Kayla loves the tub.
Well I am off to bed!! It is late and I need some sleep.
